Alpana is an important part of our Bengali culture. Lankamura, it's a small Indo- Bangla border side village, which is India famous for Alpona. This small village is located nearby Agartala, Tripura. The women from are here very expert in Alpona drawing. Every year during Poush Sankranti, they draw a beautiful Alpana in the backyard of every household. This time to further enhancement of their skills, the "Sangskar Bharati" organized a10 days workshop. And during this workshop, they have decorated the walls of mud houses in different ways, which is eye-catching.
