Gujarat government has finally announced that the Statue of Unity will be reopened from 17th October 2020 i.e from the 1st day of Navratri.

Visitors can start booking their tickets online and the ticket window will remain non-operational.

All visitors have to follow COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government. Visitors have to wear face masks all the time and maintain social distancing.

The Statue of Unity is a colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who was the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home minister of independent India and adherent of Mahatma Gandhi during the non-violent Indian Independence movement. Patel was highly respected for his leadership in uniting 562 princely states of India with a major part of the former British Raj to form the single Union of India. The statue is located in the state of Gujarat, India. It is the world's tallest statue with a height of 182 metres (597 ft). It is located on the Narmada River in the Kevadiya colony, facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of the city of Vadodara and 150 kilometres (93 mi) from Surat.

The Spring Temple budha is a colossal statue depicting Vairocana Buddha located in the Zhaocun township of Lushan County, Henan, China, built from 1997 to 2008. It is located within the Fodushan Scenic Area, close to National Freeway no. 311. The Peter the Great Statue is a 98-metre-high (322 ft) monument to Peter the Great located at the western confluence of the Moskva River and the Vodootvodny Canal in central Moscow, Russia.
