Beware everyone a girl (named Ritika (must be a fake name)) will call up your office landline from 011 4914 4200 stating that she is calling from BSNL and needs the mobile number to send SMS regarding the landline bill .. the minute you give her the mobile number she will call from the same number on your mobile and say that she calling from Reliance Insurance and your number has been shortlisted for BEST Policy and blah blah

the minute you remind her that you just spoke to her a minute ago and she took the number stating she from BSNL .. she will hang up !

yeh delhi wali ladki fraud group se lagti hai !

Be aware and in case u receive a call like this ... inform IRDA

This is how some of the Online Portals make life "So GOOD" for Travel agents !

they show a fare of 4307.00 per person and then when you click to book the flight .. the fare shoots up to 11032.00 per person..

Received a call early morning .. client says some online portal is showing fare of 4307 .. "Fatafat 2 tkt bana de Bhada badh jayega" ..
I check my GDS for fares and tell them the fare is 11000 + .. the client says "Holiday pe tkt banane ka itna surcharge .. duniya ka dhan tumko hi chahiye?" .. I advice them to book on the portal and then .. when they try to book .. they realise ... "kam Fare to Murakh banane ka tareeka hai ;)"

Dear Travelers / Partner Agencies,

Please note that from 1st November 2014 a compulsory city tax is required to be paid by the GUESTS on top of Our/Our supplier's contracted rates on all booked hotel accommodation in Belgium and Morocco.

For Belgium, the fees vary per hotel and per administrative area, with maximum amounts as follows:
• up to €10.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 5 star hotels
• up to €8.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 4 star hotels
• up to €6.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 3 star hotels
• up to €4.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 2 star hotels
• up to €3.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 1 star hotels

For Morocco, the fees vary per hotel, with approximate amounts as follows:
• Dh 33.00 - 50.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 5 star hotels
• Dh 25.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 4 star hotels
• Dh 22.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 3 star hotels
• Dh 21.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 2 and 1 star hotels

This fee is to be paid by the GUESTS directly at the hotel before the end of the stay, even if the accommodation was booked and paid for before 1st November 2014.

The emirate of Dubai is introducing a compulsory “Tourist Dirham” tax levied on all booked hotel accommodation in Dubai.

The new tax will be applicable from 31st March 2014. All bookings made prior to this date with arrivals from 31st March will not be exempt.

The fees are as follows:

AED 20.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 5 star hotels

AED 15.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 4 star hotels

AED 10.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 3 and 2 star hotels

AED 7.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 1 star hotel

This tax is to be paid by the GUESTS directly at the hotel before the end of the stay.

On 12/12/13 Berlin Parliament approved the introduction of a compulsory city tax levied on all booked hotel accommodation in .

The new tax will be applicable from 1st January 2014. Bookings made prior to 1st January 2014 will be exempt.

The fee is 5% of net room rate per night (excluding breakfast and VAT).

This tax is to be paid by the GUESTS directly at the hotel before the end of the stay.

Guests who are visiting Berlin on business are exempt from the city tax, however, a proof of visiting Berlin for business will be required at check-in.

AirAsia to suspend service between Kolkata-Bangkok
Effective from 1 March 2014 onwards

Kolkata, 22 November 2013 -
Effective from January-February 2014, Thai AirAsia will alter the frequency of its Kolkata- Bangkok flights from daily direct flights to 4 flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).
Thai AirAsia will no longer operate direct flights between Kolkata-Bangkok, starting from 1 March 2014 onwards.
