Bali pass was an old trekking route from the Tons river valley to the Yamuna river valley. It continues to attract trekkers during the monsoon season when the snow melts and the pass is approachable from both sides.

The pass is more approachable from the Har-ki-Dun valley as the gradient is small and gives good time for the trekkers to acclimatize to the altitude. The trek starts from Sankri and passes through the Govind National Park, which is famous for its wild flowers.

It also gives one an opportunity to visit the sacred lake at Ruinsara on the way and to explore the less travelled path over Yamunotri pass to Yamunotri temple.

Kedarnath Temple 📍

बाबा केदार के दर्शनों के लिए पहुंच रहे भक्तों के लिए एक अच्छी खबर है। केदारनाथ धाम पहुंच रहे भक्तों को हर समय बाबा केदार के दर्शन हो रहे हैं। दिन में केवल एक घंटे मंदिर के कपाट बंद रहते हैं। इस दौरान बाबा केदार को बाल भोग लगाया जाता है। साथ ही मंदिर की साफ-सफाई के बाद श्रृंगार किया जाता है। रात के समय श्री बद्री-केदार मंदिर समिति भक्तों की विशेष पूजाएं संपंन करवाती है।

रिकार्ड संख्या में देश-विदेश के तीर्थयात्री केदारनाथ धाम पहुंच रहे हैं। 20 दिनों की केदार यात्रा में बाबा केदार के दर्शन करने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों का आंकड़ा साढ़े पांच लाख पार हो गया है। भारी संख्या में धाम पहुंच रहे सभी भक्तों को बाबा केदार के दर्शन हों इसके लिए मंदिर 24 में से लगभग 23 घंटे खुला हुआ है। सुबह पांच बजे से दोपहर 12 बजे तक भक्त गर्भगृह में जाकर बाबा केदार के दर्शन करते हैं।

दोपहर 12 बजे से एक बजे तक मंदिर के कपाट बंद रहते हैं। इस एक घंटे में बाबा केदार को बाल भोग लगाया जाता है। फिर मंदिर की साफ-सफाई और श्रृंगार किया जाता है। इसके बाद एक बजे से सांयकालीन आरती तक भक्तों को श्रृंगार दर्शन कराए जाते हैं। रात दस बजे से सुबह पांच बजे तक बद्री-केदार मंदिर समिति की ओर से भगवान केदार की अनेक विशेष पूजाएं संपंन करवाई जाती हैं। रात के समय भी मंदिर परिसर भक्तों से भरा पड़ा है। संध्याकालीन आरती में हजारों की संख्या में भक्त मंदिर प्रांगण पहुंचते हैं।

केदारनाथ तीर्थ पुरोहित समाज के अध्यक्ष राजकुमार तिवारी ने कहा कि सुबह पांच बजे से दोपहर 12 बजे तक भक्त मंदिर के गर्भगृह में जाकर दर्शन कर सकते हैं। फिर एक बजे से रात तक श्रृंगार दर्शन और फिर रात को विशेष पूजा में भाग ले सकते हैं। धाम पहुंच रहे भक्त भी बाबा केदार के दर्शन करके अपने को धन्य महसूस कर रहे हैं।

Black Peak ⛰️

Black Peak, also known as Kalanag, is a 6,387-meter-tall mountain in the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. It’s the highest peak in the Bandarpunch massif, which is located in the Western Garhwal region of the Himalayas. The name literally means “Black Cobra” in Hindi.

The Black Peak expedition is a popular 15-day trek to the mountain that’s considered one of the most challenging climbs. The expedition starts at base camp Sankri and includes crossing glaciers and tree lines, a 75-foot ice wall, and a 70-degree gradient. The Sar Pass Trek is a 48 km long trek in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. It starts in Kasol and ends at Barshaini. The trek is easy to moderate in grade, and suitable for fit beginners.
The trek offers views of snow-capped mountains, meadows, waterfalls, and streams. It passes through pine forests, deodar forests, and rhododendrons. The trek is short but steep, and some parts may be covered in snow. It can take 4–6 hours to reach the next campsite.
The best time to visit the Sar Pass Trek is from May to June and September to November. During these months, the weather is pleasant, and the trekking conditions are ideal.
