Busker (BUS-kur), noun: A person who performs an art in public places either for donations of money or for entertainment sake. They are also referred to as street performers, traveling musicians, street entertainers, circle acts, street musicians, street theater, sidewalk, subway, and street-corner performers, minstrels, troubadours, and bards of Shakespearean decent. Buskers are that rare breed o

f street entertainers in search of the best place or "pitch" to perform their artistic endeavor. Buskers can be dancers, mimes, artists, clowns, magicians, musicians, puppeteers, jugglers, acrobats, tumblers, story-tellers, and living statues. They can be sword swallowers, balloonists, fortune tellers, contortionists, escape artists, rope walkers, fire eaters, and more. The itinerant entertainers can even be just plain weird. A busker's stage can be anywhere from fairs and festivals to trains and cablecars. Depending on their motivation, these street performers sometime travel the globe with their astounding acts reaching far-away lands and peoples with their unique form of entertainment. In some cultures, they are considered a living curiosity. With a great street stage or "pitch", buskers can easily amass huge audiences with literally thousands of people entertained daily. Busker's Corner's mission is to get the talented residents of this city, out of their home to perform in public, entertain others and feel proud of themselves.

Busker's Buddies is a group of friends, where we are always together, love each other and celebrate every moment together, our group formed in March 2019.

We would usually meet at your cafe and one day decided to make a group and name it after your cafe.

So our group is called 'Buskers Buddies'.

Extreme left is Jeet, I met this guy at Buskers after 5 years..we used to hangout before but never were in touch..buskers helped us rekindle our friendship again..

Extreme left Dijesh and besides it Madhav whom I met at buskers for the first time and have been friends ever since.

It is sad and disheartening but true.

Busker's Corner was founded 8 years ago with a motive to encourage art, culture and music; and we hope to have created a wave 🌊 that shall last forever!

We made lots of friends and earned a lot of memories to cherish throughout eternity!

Unfortunately, we cannot afford to continue running the business venture with our current business model and are closing down.

We started our journey on 21st May,2014, as a 4-wheel food cart opposite IIM Ahmedabad, on the streets. The love and support we received from our patrons and artists made us reach where we are today. We are a family of doers, running an experimental kitchen, serving pancakes, crepes, sandwiches and hot & cold beverages with love. Buskers’ mission is to get the talents of this city, out of their home to perform in public, entertain and feel proud of themselves; and spreading joy and happiness.
