গর্জনকারী তিস্তা নদীর পশ্চিম পাশে একটি ছোট গ্রাম, গজলডোবা তিস্তা অববাহিকার বাঁধের জন্য বিখ্যাত। গজলডোবা হিমালয়ের পাদদেশের পশ্চিমে দক্ষিণে, পশ্চিমে মহানন্দা নদী এবং পূর্বে তিস্তা নদীর মধ্যে অবস্থিত। দর্শনার্থীরা স্থানীয় জেলেদের সাথে ধীরগতিতে নৌকায় চড়ার সময় পাখির কিচিরমিচির শব্দ উপভোগ করতে পারে এবং বৈকুন্ঠাপুর বন এবং মাউন্ট কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার পটভূমির দৃশ্য সহ কিছু পরিযায়ী পাখি দেখার সাথে সাথে প্রবাহিত নদীর মোহনীয় শব্দ দ্বারা আবদ্ধ হতে পারে।

মূর্তি নদী ডুয়ার্সের মধ্যে অন্যতম সুন্দর। মূর্তি একটি নদীর নাম যা নেওরা ভ্যালি ন্যাশনাল পার্ক এলাকার পাহাড়ে উঁচুতে উৎপন্ন হয়। নদীটি বাংলার কাছাকাছি - সিকিম - ভুটান সীমান্ত ত্রি -সংযোগস্থল এবং শীঘ্রই পাহাড় থেকে নেমে সমসিং এলাকার মধ্য দিয়ে ডুয়ার্সে আসে। নদীটি হিমবাহ খাওয়ায় না এবং বর্ষাকাল ছাড়া খুব বেশি পানি থাকে না। যাইহোক, নদীর প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য শুষ্ক মাসগুলিতেও বাধাহীন থাকে যখন এটি সহজেই পায়ে অতিক্রম করা যায়।

লাভা লোলেগাঁও দ্রুত গন্তব্যস্থল হিসাবে উত্তরবঙ্গের পর্যটকদের পছন্দের পছন্দ হয়ে উঠছে। লোলেগাঁও একটি বিচিত্র গ্রাম যা লাভা থেকে মাত্র 24 কিলোমিটার দূরে। 1675 মিটার উচ্চতায় অবস্থিত এই লেপচা গ্রামটি তার প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যের জন্য পরিচিত। কুয়াশাচ্ছন্ন মেঘের মধ্য দিয়ে রাজকীয় কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার গৌরবময় দৃশ্য এটি আপনার পরবর্তী ছুটিতে বিশ্রাম নেওয়ার এবং পরিকল্পনা করার জন্য নিখুঁত জায়গা করে তোলে।

জলদাপাড়া পূর্ব হিমালয়ের পাদদেশে অবস্থিত। এই রেইন ফরেস্ট অভয়ারণ্যের মধ্য দিয়ে তোর্শা নদী প্রবাহিত হয়েছে যা বেশিরভাগ লম্বা ঘাসে আচ্ছাদিত, অভয়ারণ্যটি একটি বিলাসবহুল গাছপালা এবং সমৃদ্ধ বৈচিত্র্যময় বন্যপ্রাণী নিয়ে গঠিত। মালাঙ্গী নদীও পূর্ব থেকে পশ্চিমে প্রবাহিত হয়েছে। হাতি এবং জিপ সাফারিতে চড়ে এই বনের ভিতরে যাওয়ার একমাত্র উপায়।

সারি সারি পাইন এবং রোডোডেনড্রন সহ কুমারী স্পট রিশপের সৌন্দর্যকে ট্রিগার করে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের কালিম্পং জেলার একটি ছোট গ্রাম এটি অন্যতম প্রধান আকর্ষণ। এই নামের সাথে মিথ জড়িত আছে। "রি" মানে পাহাড়ের চূড়া এবং "শপ" মানে দশকের পুরনো গাছ। এই চিরসবুজ গ্রাম থেকে বরফে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার রাজকীয় দৃশ্য দেখা যায়। এটি সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে 2591 মিটার উঁচু।

পূর্ব হিমালয়ের পাদদেশে আবদ্ধ, চিলাপাতার দিকে যাওয়ার রাস্তাগুলি ধানক্ষেত, আধা-গ্রীষ্মমন্ডলীয় বন এবং সমৃদ্ধ চা বাগানের চিত্রপূর্ণ স্থানগুলিতে পরিপূর্ণ যা ভ্রমণের সময় পর্যটকদের সাথে থাকে। চিলাপাতার অনন্য অবস্থান এটিকে একটি সমৃদ্ধ জৈব-বৈচিত্র্য দিয়ে আশীর্বাদ করেছে যা চিলাপাতাকে ডুয়ার্সের একটি আসন্ন ইকো-ট্যুরিজম স্পট হিসাবে পরিণত করেছে। বহিরাগত উদ্ভিদ ও প্রাণীজগৎ এবং চিলাপাতার অস্থির পরিবেশ তৈরি করেছে ডুয়ার্স অঞ্চলে ভ্রমণকারী প্রকৃতিপ্রেমী গন্তব্য।
