The institution endeavors a reconciliation between the feelings of patriotism, nationalism, love and respect for the national language (Hindi), but at the same time acknowledging the need and utility of a sound knowledge of English as a means of communication with other nations and with other regions of our nation too. The children will, therefore, have all the benefits of an English medium education without being torn off and separated from their roots. Dr. Kaushal (Convent) School is recognized and provides education from Nursery to VII class for boys and girls. It gives a thorough grounding in the English Language and also builds a strong base in the Hindi Language which is becoming increasingly important. The children are given personal attention by qualified and experienced teachers. To develop mental faculty Yoga is taught and for holistic education knowledge of Computer is imparted. It is only possible if children are fit and strong and for that training of Martial Art and Physical Training is given and to make them bubble with energy there is facility of Play Ground. There has been al-round development from the day of the establishment of the school. The students of this school has won laurels in various competition organized by Government and other big organizations. This school has been associated with the University of New South Wales, Sydney (Australia). The students of this school participated in the International Talent Search Competition conducted by the said University and were awarded certificates. The teachers are also being awarded Best Teacher’s Awards from the international level organizations. The student of this school are now holding good posts in the various government and private departments. The greatest achievement perhaps had been the possibility to provide totally free education to visually handicapped children. The extra care and attention is provided to those lesser fortunate children who are handicapped in some way or the other. In September, 1996, three professors from University of Rome (Italy) namely Dr. Riccardo Elenori, Dr. Andrea Micangeli and Dr. Rogerto Ciccone visited this school and met with the teachers and students and were greatly pleased. A part from the usual chalk and talk education imparted within the walls of classrooms, there is also considerable emphasis given on discipline and extra-curricular development through excursions, picnics, educational tours, cultural functions and games etc. The staff and students of this school is a dedicated tem who strive to bring out their best so that they might be a worthy citizen of this great country and cherish the dreams to make India a strong and united nation.
