A bridge connecting one side of nothing-ness to another side of nothing-ness, warm sunlight on a very cold day, water flowing in the perennial mountain stream, rocks on which you can sit for hours lost in your thoughts with a drink in hand, barbecue on the side. All this in the full day picnic right next to Friendship Lane. We are going to celebrate the last week of the year like this. Everyday. Wanna come ?

Today was an amazing day at friendship lane. We got snowed out and it was the most amazing sight. Wish you were all here, we could have built and snowman and thrown snowballs at each other. Just jump into your car and drive over before the snow melts 🥶 ❄️ 🧊

There is something about a space where time stands still. Our first floor rooms. The insides have a comforting warm vibration that cocoons you and will let you stay indoors all day if that’s what you need. The balcony offers such a stunning view that sometimes you just feel like sitting and sitting and sitting there and letting time just ebb slowly. We all need such a space from time to time

One of the coolest things about Friendship Lane is the view of the mighty Himalayas that you can see all day (weather permitting). Check out the peaks that you can see in these pictures. The peak-finder image does not do full justice, you can see more. But for that you will have to come over 😀

We have opened our doors to our friends starting this Christmas. Santa personally welcomed all the guests :-) Looking forward to seeing friends of friendship lane at the homestay soon
