💔💔💔 😭😭😭😭 on earth
The recent terrorist attack on tourists in Baisaran, Pahalgam, more then 27 tourist killed is deeply heartbreaking and distressing. This inhumane and barbaric act of violence against innocent lives is a tragedy. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the deceased, and I pray that Allah grants them strength and patience during this difficult time. I also wish a swift and full recovery to the injured. This cowardly attack seeks to destroy the spirit of Kashmir and its people. We stand united in condemning all forms of violence and killing, and we strongly oppose such heinous acts in every possible way.

What is the history of Char Chinar?
Also known as Char Chinari (char chinari means four sides) and Rupa Lank, it was constructed by Murad Baksh, the brother of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The Char Chinar is best explored during a shikara ride in the Dal Lake. The Dal Lake houses 3 islands, 2 of which are surrounded by the chinar trees.
