It was 6.30 in the morning. The mountains woke up with sleepy eyes, and so did I. A very kind host knocked at the door with a cup of tea and I asked him, "Is it raining outside?". He laughed squirmishly and said,
"You must be kidding! It's snowed all night"! I ran out to see the world in front of
me covered in white. Thick, gorgeous, majestic white! That morning, I ate my
first bowl of snowfall WaiWai', while everyone said, "Hey this guy must be mad
to go out in-12 degrees!

There's a lot of fear that people tend to have when it comes to
travel. "What if you get in an accident? Aren't you scared of bears, wildlife, crazy people?? What if someone steals the stuff off your bike? What if something goes wrong?"
Seriously, I feel more at risk now (being back home) just commuting back and forth from work on the KLR. It seems to me like all the city drivers in VA don't pay any attention to the road, my mind is in constant high alert trying to predict the next bad drivers decision. Surrounded by swarms of people who would rather stare at their phones then actually drive their cars. I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've had close calls in the last 10 months of being back home and I put a lock on my motorcycle tire every night to assure that someone doesn't get a wise idea. Anyways... here's a photo of my KLR posted up on top of the World Highway. No traffic out there and not a person in site. //

Fan Throated Lizard
The fan throated lizard (Sitana ponticeriana) mostly found in open patches, rocky grounds and in thin forest. The agamid species of lizard distributed across the Indian Subcontinent and recently discovered as a new colourful species of lizard.

Few years ago, when my father was working in the state of Chattisgarh, I went to this place for a school trip which is popularly known as Golden island of Chattisgarh.
I was a 12th grade student and already had extreme adrenaline rush after hearing the name of this place. This place is situated in the extreme forest region of Sarguja, a district in this state.

I was extremely fascinated by the beauty and serenity of this heaven. It felt as if my inner self is fully charged. For the first time, I felt nature has its healing power which is eternal and wonderful. The water was as blue as sky and yes it was amazing. It really felt like being on another planet.

People should know more about this place.

Dubai is a place of interest for many people and its desert safari is one of the most fascinating tourist's attractions. Imagine sitting in the middle of a desert with the most delicious Arabian delicacies in front of you, a ho**ah on your side accompanied with traditional dance and fire shows. Isn't it just too good to be true? I know it is but one can get whatever they wish for from a gold souk to a pet cheetah all at once in Dubai.

Indian Peafowl | Kabini | Apr 2018

Peafowl are best known for the male's extravagant display feathers which, despite actually growing from their back, are thought of as a tail. The "train" is in reality made up of the enormously elongated upper tail coverts. The tail itself is brown and short as in the peahen. The colours result not from any green or blue pigments but from the micro-structure of the feathers and the resulting optical phenomena. The long train feathers (and tarsal spurs) of the male develop only after the second year of life. Fully developed trains are found in birds older than four years.

The flawless colors

Have you ever heard about the DASARA Festival in Kulasi?
If not then, let me tell you some interesting information about it.
Sri Mutharmman temple is located at Kulasekhara pattinam village, near Tiruchendur 55 km south of Tuticorin (Tamil Nadu, India) on the East coast Road en route to Kanya Kumari. The DASARA celebrations in September/October every year are second to that of Mysore (Kanataka,India).It is a place where you find thousands of people in fancy dresses of HINDU GODS with paint on their face and body the resemblance of GODS of their choice. The view looks like a million
colours gathered in a specific place. The people need not have to spend their own money,rather they are expected to beg alms door by door. People fast for 41 days continuously and during the 10 days of dusserha, they should dress like the god/goddess of their own wish and commit no sin quit.On the 10th day the village turns into a veritable carnival of folk music and dance on the seashore. A large idol of MAGISASURAN is ignited on the 10th night.People from different places visit this place to enjoy the act.

These 10 days are such a treat for photographers for picturing some amazing photographs. .

I know all of you might be wondering what happened next, an old guy in early fifties walked up to me and asked "you need a place to stay?". I stood there not aware of what he's speaking and I didn't know Hindi.
Then I got a hint that he was speaking about accommodation. He told me to pay 500 rs for a day and I bargained him till 300 with broken Hindi.
And I learnt one thing, only way it's possible of other people to sleep there is get drunk and pass out 😂.
And worst part is none of the drink works at that cold apart from Kashmiri rum. And trust me it was the one of the best in the things I did in Kashmir.
Next morning I woke up to this view in the photo.
And I told myself Kashmir is a poetry that I cannot fathom ♥️.
And I started to explore Srinagar.

Hey guys! Haven’t we all fantasised about going on a trip with the one person with whom we can share anything at any time, our best friend! I have. We all have different imaginations for this trip, some of us want to raise a glass of champagne sitting on the top of the Eiffel Tower, some of us want to go on an adventurous bike ride to Ladakh and some want to go to a crazy sunburn concert in Goa! My personal favourite is the last one where I can drink endless shots and dance like the world doesn't exist with my even crazier bestie! Then we could go on a cruise, check out guys, do parasailing, and what not! And at the end of our trip, we can have some mimosas on the beach while watching the beautiful sunset and talk endlessly.

Welcome to the Death Valley ! 🔥 🌄

The name Death Valley came from a group of travellers who got lost in middle of nowhere and after much difficulty found a way out of this desert . We went through something similar . We started around 4pm during winters after a great day at this desert towards Los Angeles .During winters there are early sunsets by 5pm. We were driving and we lost GPS signal and cell coverage . We drove and drove and eventually kept wondering... Is this the right way ?? .

I had a sinking feeling of being stranded in this desert but we gathered all courage and somehow kept driving and finally saw some signs of a country store and house and they helped with navigation and we ended of reaching LA by late midnight .

It was dated 2.5years back but these kind of adventures makes you proud of the life and willpower to fight back l and ofcourse the memories will be inked as stories !!

I remember this quote that once I heard, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” ,and I chant this whenever I feel like I can't do something alone. When you have a good company you can conquer all your fears and self doubts.
I've never been much of a sports enthusiast but I do have an adventurous mind that makes me do things that gives me adrenaline rush.
My friends and I planned for this sudden trekking at a location that's actually not a trekking spot.
When we reached at our location the view was worth watching and I was glad that I joined them. Initially it was a good and easy start but eventually the trek got harder and fear got me into its grip. It was hard to climb in such a terrain of ups and downs,it was challenging , but we had to make way for ourselves, we had to thrash down bushes, cactus and tree branches. All this was possible because I had my expert friends with me who helped me in keeping my calm. Even when the big rock boulder came down our way I knew it, I can't be afraid and I can't back out as there was no other way to go down the hill. The journey of our trekking tale was indeed very scary but life is all about adventures and yes, there is no life without adventures.
We climbed up rocks, we caught some crabs, we had to remove our shoes as it was raining and the path was slippery and finally through all this struggle we were able to find out road. I can never forget the happiness that was running through my veins! I was so happy to reach up, to look at the beautiful scenery and I will keep it in my heart forever. The blue sky, the fog, the rain. Everything felt different, everything felt soothing. Yes the way I feel for this adventure is going to remain with me. I learnt how to trek, I learnt its all about keeping your calm, its about enjoying the moment you are in rather than ranting about the difficulties, its about overcoming them. This was all possible cause of my mates. And the quote was proven this day. And it will always share a special place in my heart.

By the year 2008, according to the
National Tiger Conservation Authority, there were estimated only 1,411 tigers in existence in India. The 2010 National Tiger Assessment estimated the total population of tigers in India at 1,706.

India’s wild tiger population has increased by more than 33% in four years from 1,706 in 2015 to 2,977 in 2019 , raising hopes for the survival of the endangered species.

Live life take pictures ... Relive memories ...Repeat !!! One of those shots which makes me proud as a photographer much more than me being in the frame and credits goes to the person who dared to experience it that close especially when there was a tsunami warning and tides were all time high at the Pacific !!! Thor’s Well is a Pacific bottomless sinkhole/drainpipe that never seems to fill despite the unbroken stream of sea water that drains into it. The natural wonder is not bottomless, but it is very dangerous around 20 feet deep ... Its a pleasure to watch it especially during the high tides which appears to drain water from the ocean which can swallow you whole if you venture too much !!! There is something mystical about this place with a superstition of Thor’s well being the gates to hell .. quite fascinating right !! .

I was sitting there in the window seat articulating, how my life's changing from childhood to adulthood. The process, it's so hard, people leave day by day, I'm tired of listening to goodbye's. The people I thought I'd never lose are the once to go first. Nothing seems to stop, just like rains of Monsoon. Where do I find my solace? My every effort went in vain.

Adulthood had very hard way of teaching you that you are alone in this journey, it's lonely out there if you want to do something in life. The best thing that adulthood teaches you is the calibre to decide who's with you till the end.

Aharbal is also called as “ Niagara falls of kashmir”. Its one of the beautiful hill station in the south western part of kashmir valley in India.
Back then when i was a kid i had heard about it. I had also heard that many people died in Aharbal falls due to excessive flow of water. So i always had this fear in my heart. Whenever my family decided to visit Aharbal,I would be scared.
Anyway that was my childhood fear.
Now that i am an adult with thousands of dreams and wild soul, I leave no stone unturned to visit every beautiful place and explore it. Finally,i decided to go to Aharbal.I think this was the best decision of my life. I was totally mesmerised by its enchanting beauty. The musical sound of the waterfall was one of the beautiful thing I witnessed. I am really glad i went there. I came back but i left my heart there.

Road trips have always made a run on my nerves .It teaches so much about people , culture ,nature and so many other things which intrigues me.

😍 ⛰

Drove over 1600 miles/2500 kms in 3 days and covering the best national parks in Colorado and Wyoming state (the Rockies , Tetons and Yellowstone). I have learnt a travel tip for life , when you see such a view I take in deep breaths and imprints it into my soul .Regardless of how tired you are, you feel satiated at the end of the day 😊✨ This shot captures the Grand Teton National Park rising above rich with wildlife ,pristine lake and alpine terrain with hundreds of trails floating across the Snake river making it more serene and breathtaking.

Taj Mahal - More than just the 6th wonder of the world .

I have heard many stories about people telling their experience of visiting the Taj but when I was finally able to visit the Mahal and witness it through my eyes , it felt real and magnificent .
In pictures it might just look like an architectural landscape , but witnessing it was out of the world experience.
It was 03rd January 2017 , 8:08 a.m ,when I first saw the Taj. The Gigantic and Majestic white body was submerged in the fog due to winters but it was a breathtaking view . No picture of it would do justice to the beauty that lies within the Marvels of the Mughul Architecture but here it is , The Majestic White Beauty.
