Here comes the cultural event of the Month “A Heritage Walk along with Team Johnson”!!!!!

So, What’s So Special???

This Heritage walk is exclusively an event hosted for the Architect and Interior Designers to experience the architecture of Karnataka from the time of Kempegowda along with the Tour Guide - Ar. Mansoor Ali from Bangalore By Foot.

Now follow the Itinerary!

Date of Event – 16.04.2024.
Timing – 1:00 PM To 5:00 PM.
12:15 PM – Pick Up from Point Locations.
1:00 PM Lunch - Banana leaf South Indian lunch - Basavanagudi.
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM – Walk and talk on heritage and urban structure.
4:15 PM – Return drop to point locations.

The Basavanagudi architect's walk focuses on the history of Bangalore from the time of Kempegowda.
Along the course of this walk we visit the local market, a heritage house, a pavilion designed by a German architect, etc.
The walk focuses on urban planning techniques as well as the construction of heritage homes using technologies which are termed redundant nowadays.
Also included are tales about the old Basavanagudi of yore, the history about the original builders of these houses, the planning of Basavanagudi, construction techniques of old houses & the way to preserve these homes for future generations.
