At Destination Himalaya, our primary mission is to successfully fulfill our "Commitment To Intelligent Travel." We are committed to ensuring travel that is both ecologically responsible and culturally sensitive. Out of respect for the natural environment and the people of the regions in which we operate, we uphold the highest standards of low-impact and sustainable tourism. Our goal is to ensure a mutually beneficial encounter between our clients and the proud people of Asia, and to help preserve the pristine beauty of this special land by continually striving to exceed "industry-best standards." Our "Commitment to Intelligent Travel" stresses education and understanding. We do our utmost to educate our clients about the destinations they will visit prior to their departure, during their time in Asia, and after they return home. We realize that an adventure to Asia may be a once in a lifetime experience for our clients, however, we hope that their trip merely whets their appetite and enhances what for many becomes a lifelong love affair with the region. This is why many of our clients continue to join us on subsequent Asian adventures. Travel is cutting loose to enter the unknown, allowing us to come home and see our world with fresh eyes. Travel is what most of us long to do. It connects us to others and brings us to a greater understanding of ourselves. Those of us who are travelers truly appreciate what we gain by visiting other lands, by stepping out of our comfortable homes and seeing life as it is in various parts of the world. This is certainly an important part of what we do as tour operators – facilitate and enable our fellow travelers to benefit from all that our world has to offer. Yet, for us, this is not enough; it is equally important that we give back to the people and lands of Asia who are directly responsible for our livelihood.

I have called/ given a name of this trek route as " Known and Unknown trail on Kumayun hills. Actually, we started this trek from Patiyasar village and concluded at Jaikuni village. We set up eight camps in between these two villages. Now I want to say something about this trek route. Since 1987 I started my trekking life and have successfully completed a large number of high altitude trek, but I was stunned out after completion of this trekking route. During the period of trek of this route , we have obtained and faced all types of hazard. I think all of our members were also very much lucky who are entirely enjoyed this trek graciously. In my opinion, this trek route is one of the best trek in all categories amongst my achieved trek routes.
Anyway, I don't want to take it in lengthy I.e. my remarks.
Today I will conclude my posting of photographs because our trek has been terminated at Jaikuni village. You are observing a video, wherein we are introducing to all of our Members, Sherpa, Guide , HAP. All photographs were taken from Khati and Jaikuni villages.
Our next trek programme was organised during August 2022 at JAMMU and Kashmir I.e. "The Great Seven Lakes " which I will post to you from time to time.
In the end, I thanks to all of you for your valuable comments that I will never forget. 👏

At last, after completion of harsh trek throughout the day, we were able to occupy our 8th camp site . This is our Khatia camp. After arrival at Khatia camp site, we observe that if we continue our rappelling approach, it may be a great danger to us. Because just after arrival at Khatia camp heavy snowfall was started which you are observing in our Video. Regarding camp site, luckily we availed the Shelter and set up Tents inside the Shelter. The next day's trail will be very tough because the trail was fully washed out by huge landslide and that should be crossed by us.

Remembering to you about my previous post wherein you viewed two videos, one of which our members were rappelled down and the rest we descended the trail to reach near the Kafni Nala. Now, I am going to post the rest of the photographs and videos how we reached to Kafni Nala and no.8 camp site ( Khatia). After arrival to the Nala, we viewed that there was no trail to cross the Nala for which our Guide and helping members made two wooden bridges with the Bhoj tree.
