Apart from all the heritage sites,temples & beautiful places to see don't miss to have a look at Law Garden a place with Vast Variety of clothes,shoes,bags, jewellery to all the list of things one can vouch to carry back not only for yourselves can pick good souvenirs for family or friends too.Here i got to explore & exchange a lot of faces with selling their local to hybrid brands while I could check this beautiful Women asking me to check her "Aree Goggles bhi dekh lo madam,bau saru che bau fine che"that Gujarati accent with innocent face & convincing Art for me to definitely get one she put in all her skills for me to remember her Marketing strategy.
That look in her eyes & me exchanging thoughts with her asking why you be so late to sell them,her answer was touching you use these for Sun to not look bright & our life is filled with struggle as dark as Googles,
'Log Aankh ko bachane ke liye pehente hai madam hum Ghar mai andhera na ho usko bachane ke liye baith te hai madam' is a story to remember apart from all the shopping !!!!!

What an incredible place in the heart of a busy city. Truly appreciate the local Govt building this place and maintaining it.
This Sabarmati water front is developed on the banks of the River Sabarmati in the central location of the city, right on front of the new, modern and picturesque bridge that has been constructed to cross the river. There is also a well developed garden along side the entrance.
Tickets are available at the entrance & there are small Cafes & eataries on the Bridge while walking one explore if they wish to .Ideal time is to visit in the evenings though mornings are calm & peaceful.

It is a Jain Temple. The followers of Dada Bhagwan has built it. It is a very neat and clean Mandir.
On the outskirts of Ahmedabad is a tranquil haven of peace and unity – The Trimandir dedicated to 3 major religions, Jainism, Vaishnavism and Shaivism. Statues of Mahavir Bhagwan, and Hindu deities like Lord Shiva (Shivalinga), Lord Krishna, Lord Balaji, Lord Vishnu etc.
Arches of carved red sand-stone lend divinity to the structure. Huge chandeliers hanging from the high and vaulted ceiling enliven the calm meditation hall. A panoramic view of the highway and the surroundings was breathtaking.
Some volunteers briefed us about the origin of the temple and its concept of unity. Photography is allowed inside the temple.
In front of the temple is an elegant fountain flanked by two statues of lions and two statues of elephants. Benches have been provided for visitors, to enjoy the scenic view.
A serene and soothing temple, it is aimed to negate religious differences between masses. The message of the temple is that the ultimate concept given by all religions is the same and we need to understand this concept of the Soul for our spiritual progress and happiness. Spread over a sprawling area of one acre, there are very good amenities around - a restaurant, clean guest rooms, prasad center, a store of happiness for kids, a small museum and introductory video section. An entire private city has been developed around the city for spiritual seekers. Easily accessible on the Kalol highway, this is a must visit place - giving you a holiday from city's hustle bustle and getting you closer to spirituality.

This is a very old ancient temple in cantonment area in Ahmedabad. You require to walk about 400 metres from the entry gate . However for those who can not walk, there are battery operated vehicles offering free service.
It is considered more beneficial religiously to visit the temple on Saturday when there is huge crowd. The place is closer to airport. The visit gives lot of peace of mind.

Popular as Arasuri Amba, Ambaji mata temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas.The popular pilgrimage shrine of Gujarat is situated on the border of States of Gujarat and Rajasthan near Abu Road. The shrine is made of white marble with gold cones.The inner sanctum of the temple has silver-plated doors.There is no statue of goddess in the temple. The holy “Shree Visa Yantra” is worshiped as the main deity.Also there's a way to Gabbar above where there's one Jyot that's been continuously lit since years.

Amazing place with an amazing view. Loved the architecture.
A gorgeous, must-visit stepwell.
Adalaj ni vav is also known as Rudabai Stepwell. She the queen who got the construction of the stepwell complete after her husband Rana Veer Singh was martyred in a battle against Mohd Begda. The latter offered to marry Rudabai, who was about to perform Sati. Rudabai agreed to the proposal on the condition that he should finish the construction of the stepwell that Ratan Singh had begun. The day the construction was complete, the queen jumped into the well,to join her husband in afterlife.
The love story that ended in tragedy but gave birth to an enormous structure for the people of the region to fight drought.The entire structure has beautiful carvings of celestial figures,gods & religious legends.There are several stories in the stepwell,half of which is restricted for public Interestingly the stepwell's temperature is five degrees lower than the outside temperature!!
What a brilliant scientific construct from the 1498.
The main well is covered & protected by a boundary -The exact spot where the queen supposedly killed herself.
The whole stepwell is mesmerizing & a work of fine Architecture.Adalaj is around 20kms from Ahmedabad & 5 kms from Gandhinagar.
Must Visit when in Ahmedabad.

One of the oldest temple in Mumbai dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Went on a non-peak season and a non-peak hour .It was very organised took the lift upstairs and kept the shoes with the shoe keeper. Did a very quick darshan and returned bythe steps.Absolutely awesome!

The temple is situated on a hill which is almost 1500ft above sea level. The view form atop is very scenic. There are 1200 steps and one can walk up if the enthusiasm levels are high but there is a comfort of cable cars that takes you up within 5 minutes. I went on an odd day and the temple was empty and i could sit there comfortably.
As an ardent devotee of goddess Durga, the visit has been on the cards for a couple of years but got materialised in my recent trip to Mumbai.
Buy your offering beforehand - unlike other temples there are no shops if you take the cable car so please buy your offerings in advance and take it with you to the top
Wear comfortable clothes - on a hot day temperarures get soaring so it is advisable to wear light clothes & carrying water is must .
Travelling days - preferably better to visit post noon on mid week days such between tue to friday.
I went by the local train and was there on a Tuesday morning at 9 am.The temple was not crowded during that time . I felt the positivity inside the temple and was amazed by the warmth of people who worked there. I will look forward to my next visit when that takes place.

They have a thali system which comes in the fastest. The chicken and mutton curries are thick and very tasty. The mutton itself is absolutely tender. Falling from the bone kind and does wonders to your taste buds.
Went there for lunch with a friend,we had both fish & mutton thali, & tell you what, it was the best mutton I had in Bangalore. Its a good place to visit once in a while.
Decent kolhapuri fare in whitefiled area. Menu includes tambda rassa, pandhara rassa(red & white curry), sol kadhi,mutton/chicken/egg thali, keema pav, fish, shell fish curries.The high point was that we got kolhapuri (from the state of maharashtra) food right in the beautiful city of Bangalore. Good for singles and friends looking for some spicy food from kolhapur and malvan(konkan) region.
Ambience - I wouldn’t like to talk much about ambience. It’s a very simple place without any fancy ambience. So if you are looking for a fancy dining place, you can skip it.

Have been here shortly, Small but very comfortable outlet facing towards the main road still very calm ,absolutely neat & best kept simple Ambience.
The way it's designed gives a very bright & energetic Vibes .Pace for working people where one can sit & manage some working hours or attend official or personal meet ups with friends.Loved it totally.👌

This is on a hill called Omkar hills near Rarajeshwari Nagar and for the devotees of Shiva it is a treat as it has all the Jyotirlingas at one place. The view from the hills are fantastic, part of the Bangalore can be seen from here.Once you visit this place you feel we have taken a darshan of all 12 jyotirlingas. In one place all temples and on a hill top. Central OMkareshwara linga is a huge darshan and all temples are made to resemble the Original jyotirlinga.

While on our way to Ramnagar Fort was this most famous Dwarika Lassi Bhandar. The luscious lassi here is topped with a generous layer of fresh malai and rabdi. The concoction is so thick that one needs to use a spoon to scoop it out from the earthen cup. Priced at Rs.50 per cup , this lassi cm rabdi is a cult favourite among locals and travellers alike.
