Manger?
Preferred option or
Pressurised option for a couple
Who were denied space
In their own homeland
Manger: a sign?
For the believers
To visit the mighty One
Now wrapped in bands of cloth
As a vulnerable babe
Manger: a cause?
To ignite anger
In the rejected ones
To fuel victimhood and
Become su***de bombers
Manger: a life space?
For the human One
A sign of his earthly journey
Culminating on the Cross
Redeeming it as well
Manger: a message?
Not to repeat
Nor to romanticise
But to go beyond the manger
And receive Jesus the Christ
Manger: a messenger?
To receive him
Despite your rank and state
With the assurance of
