|| Handi Gundi Betta ||

*DATE : 18th May 2024, Saturday*

Handi Gundi betta, another unexplored hillock near Ramanagara, about 60km from Bangalore.
The drive takes you through Mango and coconut farms.
A small patch of boulder steep climb at the start, surrounded by bamboo and cacti.
The top is a wide open area where we get panoramic views of Ramanagara. We will relax and enjoy a lovely breakfast, refresh, explore and come down!

Easy to Moderate level of trek.

Trek distance : 1.5km one way

We assemble and leave by 5am.
Reach and Start to trek up by 7am.
We reach the top in 1.5hrs.
Enjoy a packed breakfast on top.
Stay there for a while, rest, explore, till 9:30am.
Trek down.
Reach Bangalore by 12 noon.

If anyone wants to bring along their child, you can!!

*Assembly time : 5am*

*COST : Rs.1,350 per head*

Breakfast, Transport to and fro, trek leads and forest dept permit.

Conducted successfully a trek for the organization freedom from Diabetes FFD Bangalore.
A bunch of 60 enthusiastic participants. First timers to experienced ones, but all filled with a passion for fitness.

One day hike to
|| KARADI BETTA ||
also known as BananthiMari Betta.

*DATE : 17th Feb 2024, Saturday*

Bananthi Mari betta is located near Kanakpura about 60km from Bangalore.
The trek starts from a small Bananthamma temple with a tiny Kalyani surrounded by lots of monkeys. The beginning is easy with a muddy trail for about 1.5km. The last 500m is an inclined walk over a boulder. Breathtaking 360 degree views on the top of the hillocks around Kanakpura. One can see clouds and mist floating between the ranges.
The top is a wide open area where we will relax and enjoy a lovely meal, refresh and come down!

Easy to Moderate level of trek.

Trek distance : 2km one way

We assemble and leave by 5am.
Reach and Start to trek up by 7:30am.
We reach the top in 1.5hrs.

Bheemana kindi successfully completed with this gang of lovely people ❤️
Located about 85km away from Bangalore near Channapatna, Kabbala village.. a beautiful trek with a rocky path with steps.
A small little temple on top. Very peaceful and serene.
One can easily get lost here so it's best to follow the electricity line till the top!
Trek level - Moderate
2km one way.
Carry alone plenty of water and beware of monkeys on the top at the kindi.
Living by our name we did "GET LOST" But we call it the "Adventurous route" and glad everyone enjoyed it.
What a day!
Request to everyone - Do not litter it with your noisy speakers and wrappers.
