We didn’t start Active Holiday Company with the intention of making it to the front pages of India’s newspaper. We did it only to serve runners. And that tribe was very small when we began. It’s humbling to see the trend, we introduced to India, become worthy of such coverage. Thank you FIRST & FOREMOST to our clients, who are the reason we exist. Without their support we wouldn’t have reached here!
Thank you Times of India & Bombay Times for recognising our work. The trend is here to stay and we will continue to work hard to deliver & lead the space of making runners dreams come true!

Leaving Tokyo with a heart full
Exhilaration, excitement, exhaustion, joy, tears, fatigue, thrill, accomplishment, exhaustion, joy, happiness… these are only some of the emotions these six star finishers felt yesterday after they completed a long journey. Most took years to get here and we are proud to have enabled and witnessed their journey! Thank you for giving us the chance to serve you!

It all started when a bunch of runners signed up with us to travel to London Marathon in 2014. Since then we have carved our niche in the travel industry making active travel a new way to travel.
From running a marathon at sub-zero temperatures in the Antarctica to climbing to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the reason that we are so good at this is simple: We’ve walked the less trodden path for decades, painstakingly refining every experience revolving it around just one thing - our travellers.
Why Active Holidays?
When you choose to explore Tuscany on a bicycle, you are in fact signing up to accessing and connecting with it in ways that no other travel style can allow you to, you sign up for meeting Tuscany. Personally. You sign up to witnessing the everyday lives of the locals, stopping to sip that cappuccino (or wine) at that quaint local café along the route, that’s not on the list of any big tour company. You sign up for staying in small boutique properties, instead of a big chain hotel, where you’ll probably discuss weather and politics with the native family who’ve probably owned the place for generations.
Or take for example, our hike along the UNESCO Heritage Wachau Valley in Austria which takes you on roads less travelled, to the stunning scenery of rolling hills, pretty villages and vineyards. Of course, you’ll tuck in the highlights and the must-sees but you’ll do more than your neighbours who did their run-of-the-mill trip, we promise. We’ll lend our expertise to the perfect trip. The pace will be yours, as will be the extra-ordinary experiences.
Most of our trips are designed with explorers in mind and majority of our trips need the mindset, not always the muscle.
