Lambhari Winter Climbing is a foundation course for the beginner outdoor enthusiasts, thoughtfully designed to educate and introduce them with the theoretical and practical knowledge involved in Trekking, Mountaineering and outdoors. An activity involving an extreme adventure requires activity-specific knowledge and experience. This course will be conducted in the Himalayan territory, giving you the first hand experience of the terrain and weather. Trekking and Mountaineering are challenging physically as well as mentally. One has to be strong and determined; participants/trainees require unwavering focus, determination and the ability to overcome failure and harsh conditions.

Shrikhand Mahadev trek is one of the very picturesque and diverse in terms of the landscapes, this trail is also a pilgrim trail that leads to the Shrikhand Mahadev peak (5,227 meters/17,150 ft), named after Lord Shiva. The key attraction of this trek is the breathtaking view of the Great Himalayan ranges, waterfalls and rivulets.

Hiking and trekking in winter conditions, especially in snowy terrain, can be both exhilarating and challenging. Here are some essential teachings and tips for beginners venturing into winter hikes and treks:
Plan and Prepare:
Research your chosen trail thoroughly. Understand its difficulty level, length, elevation gain, and any potential hazards and have a local trained guide guiding you throughout the activity.
Check the weather forecast and trail conditions before heading out. Be prepared for sudden weather changes.
Dress Appropriately:
Layering is key. Wear moisture-wicking base layers, insulating mid-layers, and a waterproof and windproof outer layer.Avoid cotton clothing as it retains moisture and can lead to hypothermia. Don't forget to wear insulated gloves, a hat, and waterproof boots with good traction.
Footwear and Traction:
Invest in insulated waterproof boots with good ankle support. Ensure they're comfortable and properly broken in.
Safety Considerations:
Be cautious around ice-covered surfaces, especially near water bodies and steep slopes.
Watch out for signs of hypothermia and frostbite in yourself and your fellow hikers. Learn how to recognize and treat these conditions.
Keep an eye out for avalanche terrain if hiking in mountainous areas. Take an avalanche safety course if venturing into avalanche-prone regions.
Mindful Movement:
Take shorter strides and maintain a slower pace to conserve energy and reduce the risk of slipping.
Use trekking poles to improve stability and reduce the strain on your legs, especially when traversing uneven terrain.
Stay Hydrated and Fueled:
Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty. Hydration is essential in cold weather.
Consume high-energy snacks throughout the hike to maintain your body's fuel reserves.
Leave No Trace:
Respect the environment and leave it as you found it. Pack out all trash and waste.
