What is the cost you’re ready to pay for something dear? And what might be the cost for something priceless!?
The sight of a snow leopard walking through a carpet of snow, seemingly unperturbed nearly cost us our fingers!
It was -25 degrees below zero and a breeze only added to the discomfort. Trying to shoot with the gloves was proving to be a nuisance and so, pulling off the gloves with my teeth; my bare hands clutched the camera to record this footage.
Needless to add, I had to get the hand thawed after reaching camp or it might have been injured permanently.

In India, the wolf is protected under Schedule( I )of the Wildlife protection act 1972 ,which prohibits hunting.
The Himalayan wolf has a thick, woolly fur that is dull earthy-brown on the back and tail, and yellowish-white on the face, belly, and limbs. It is about 110 cm (45 in) long and 76 cm (30 in) tall at the shoulder. It weighs about 35 kg . Supplementary food for Himalayan wolves includes the small Himalayan marmot, woolly hare, and pikas. Himalayan wolves avoid livestock where wild prey is available, but habitat encroachment and the depletion of wild prey populations is expected to lead to conflict with herders.

One of the most targeted raptor from Uttarakhand hills 😊 if you are very lucky so you will get in open perch, unfortunately we were lucky enough to get him for 10 minutes on open perch. My clients were really crazy for that amazing raptor After few seconds of fly we got again that the same guy for next 15 minutes 😀.
