Partez à la rencontre de la communauté Apatani en Arunachal Pradesh, qui vénère Donyi-Polo (soleil et lune). Les Apatanis ont un long cycle de rites liés à l’agriculture entrecoupé de festivals. Lors de ces rites, ils sacrifient des animaux pour apaiser les dieux, Tamu pour protéger les récoltes, Metii pour la santé des habitants, Danyi pour la prospérité et Harniang pour garder le sol stable et les champs irrigués. Le lieu du festival est déterminé par un chaman et sera décoré de bambou. Les femmes préparent de grandes quantités d’Apong, la bière de riz locale qui sera distribuée au sein de la communauté.

Au cours de ce voyage, vous aurez également l’occasion de découvrir d’autres communautés d’Arunachal Pradesh (Adis, Akas, Apatanis, Bungnis, Nishis, Mishmis, Mijis, Thangsos…) et visiter leurs villages, vous permettant de mieux comprendre le mode de vie tribal.

Allahabad (Prayag) is gifted in true holy terms as is situated at Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the three most holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.

The ancient name of the city is Prayag (Sanskrit for “place of sacrifice”), as it is believed to be the Place where Lord Brahma offered his first sacrifice after creating the world.

The Kumbh mela, the world’s largest religious gathering held on the banks of Triveni Sangam (the confluence of the three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati) in Prayag (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh, is likely to witness 15 crore ( 150 Million) pilgrims in 2019.
