THE DETAIL SCHEDULE OF THE INAUGURATION OF THE HERITAGE CORRIDOR PROJECT HAS BEEN FINALISED.

The detailed schedule for inauguration of the Heritage Corridor Project in Puri, Odisha has been confirmed by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration. The rituals of the most awaited project will begin on January 12 and will be open to devotees on January 17th. Brahmin priests will recite vedas at all the four gates of the Srimandira premises in the inaugural function which will be followed by cultural events to mark the historic moment. The rituals will be carried with complete sanctity under the presence of Gajapati King Dibyasingha Deb and graced by the Chief Minister of the state Shri Naveen Pattnaik.

The inaugural function will be a benchmark to remember as the state government will be making special arrangements to live screen the ceremony throughout Odisha. Puri Shankacharya and the Pontiffs of mutts in the holy city will be invited for the ceremony. The district administration has already announced and will be painting all the buildings to a uniform colour along the Grant Road before the ceremony.
