Muir Glacier in 1941 and 2004

The 1941 photograph shows the lower reaches of Muir Glacier and its tributary, Riggs Glacier. The two glaciers filled Muir Inlet. In the 2004 photograph, Muir Glacier, continuing a retreat nearly two centuries long, is located about 4 miles (7 kilometers) to the northwest, out of the field of view. Riggs Glacier has retreated some 0.4 miles (0.6 kilometers). Both glaciers have thinned substantially.

Deepgot is a secret track discovered in the Dhauladhar range by our team with the help of local shepherds. It's a hidden gem of nature that we want trekkers to discover at an elevation of around 12000 feet. We introduced something new in 2017, and it is a watershed moment for our organisation. We want people to feel responsible for the environment and to never litter. Trekking on well-known paths has harmed the grandeur of Dhauladhar treks such as Triund and Kareri Lake. Let us discover new places while preserving nature's beauty.
