The Hamstring muscle crosses 2 joints:
1. Knee Joint
2. Hip Joint
Hamstring Curls: Trains the hamstrings through knee flexion. This is important because the short head of bicep femoris (one of the 4 hamstrings muscles) only crosses the knee Joint. So this can be trained only via knee flexion.
Stiff Leg Deadlift: Trains the hamstrings(3 out of the 4 muscles) in the lengthened position through Hip Extension.

The hemoglobin A1c (glycated hemoglobin or HbA1c) test is used to measure the past 90 days average blood sugar level. Hemoglobin is a protein only found in red blood cells. Since red blood cells live about an average of three months, the A1c test will reflect those red blood cells that are present in the bloodstream at the time of the test; this is why the A1c serves as an 90 day average of blood sugar levels. Hemoglobin becomes coated with glucose from the bloodstream. The amount of glucose that is present in the blood will attach to the hemoglobin protein, and increased glucose levels will reflect on the surface of the hemoglobin protein, thus causing an increased A1c level.
