The silks we cherish in our wardrobes, go through so much of hard hand work. The threads being dyed in bright coloured boiling liquids, woven with such precision to create perfect motifs, and the entire cooperative system that ensures quality of the silk and welfare of the weavers....it was an insightful time in this silk weavers' village.
