नमस्कार,
कोळथरे मधला कोळेश्वराचा उत्सव आणि आमच्या कोकणमेवा होमस्टे मध्ये रहायचा योग लवकरच येत आहे, लगेच तयारी करा.

सालाबाद प्रमाणे कोळथरे येथे श्रीदेव कोळेश्वराचा उत्सव 23 ऑक्टोबर ते २९ ऑक्टोबर या कालावधीत होत आहे. सर्व शिवभक्तांसाठी या सोहळ्यात सहभागी होऊन गावातल्या उत्सवाच्या वातावरण अनुभव घेण्याची एक, छान संधी आहे.

एका आख्यायिकेप्रमाणे येथे भातासाठी शेत नांगरत असताना एका कोळ्याला पाणी लाल झालेले दिसून आले तर त्याला नांगराच्या फाळालाही रक्त लागले दिसले. त्याला काही कळले नाही म्हणून त्याने गावातील लोकांना गोळा केले. या घटनेबद्दल कोणाचाही काहीही लक्षात येत नसल्याने ते सर्व परतले. मात्र रात्री कोळ्याला झोपेत भगवान शंकराने स्वप्नात येऊन दर्शन दिले आणि स्वत: प्रगट झाल्याचे सांगितले. तेव्हा कोळी सकाळी लवकर उठून गावकऱ्यांना घेऊन तिथेच गेला तेव्हा त्याला तिथं स्वयंभू शिवलिंग दिसले. तिथेच सर्वांनी साष्टांग नमस्कार करून छोटेसे शिवालय उभारले. कोळ्याचा ईश्वर म्हणजे कोळेश्वर या नावाने सर्व संबोधू लागले.

येथे जवळच जाखाई काळेश्रीचे देऊळ आहे. श्री विष्णू-लक्ष्मी, श्री गणेश आणि हनुमानाची मंदिरे ही आहेत. मंदिराच्या बाजूला एक ओढा आहे. येथून मंदिरात पोहचताना परिसरातील झाडांची सावली वेगळाच अनुभव देते. समुद्र किनार्‍यावर वसलेले कोळथरे गाव अगदी शांत आणि रम्य आहे. येथील समुद्राला समांतर घरांची रांग, बागा असे सुंदर चित्र बघायला मिळतात. विशेष म्हणजे येथील देवळांना नियमित रंगरंगोटी केली जाते त्यामुळे सौंदर्य वेगळचं दिसून येतं

ह्या सोबतच शारदियं नवरात्र व कोजागिरीच्या पर्वात कोळथरेच्या आजूबाजूला असलेल्या दाभोळची चंडिका देवी, बोदची पदमावती, कोळथरे, बुरोंडी येथील दुर्गादवी अशा शक्तीपीठांना ही भेट देता येईल.

पाऊस आणि कोंकण, आणि त्यातलं कोकणमेवा होमस्टे.

जमीन आणि आकाशाचं नातं किती अजब असतं..जमीनीला हसवायला आकाशाला रडावं लागतं… आसू आणि हसू यांचे सुंदर मिलन म्हणजे कोकणातला पाऊस. पावसाळ्यात हिरवा शालू परिधान करून निसर्गाचे मुक्त नृत्य जेथे सुरू असते ते म्हणजे कोकण….

कोकणातील पाऊस म्हणजे एक अविस्मरणीय अनुभव. सह्यद्रीच्या पर्वत रांगांमधून कोसळणारे असंख्य धबधबे, दुधाचे घट फोडत खळखळ वाहणारे ओढे, डोंगरांना आच्छादून टाकणारे काळेभोर ढग, घाट रस्त्यांना कवेत घेणारी धुक्याची दुलई, हिरवाई परिधान केलेली माळराने, दुथडी भरून वाहणाऱ्या नद्या, ढवळ्या-पवळ्याचे जोत हाकणारा शेतकरी, डोंगर उतारावरच्या हिरव्याकंच शेतीच्या रांगा, निसर्गाच्या सानिध्यात बसून, गरम गरम भजी, चहा, जेवायला नॉनव्हेज वाल्यांसाठी खेकड्याचा रस्सा, कोंबडी वड्याची मेजवानी,आणि ताजे मासे…… हे सारं म्हणजे कोकणातील, अर्थात एक लॅन्डस्केप.
