Established over a peaceful sprawling, green campus just below the Mall Rood, entire complex commands a breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga. Special emphasis is laid on preservation and promotion of Tibetan culture, protection of environment and inculcation of human values above all. Career Counseling too receives equal importance with trained staff with frequent visit of D-o-E, Dharamsala counselor

. At present there are 518 students with 42 staff. The total number of boarder is 266 with 14 departments. the school offer courses in Commerce and Humanities.

On March 27, 2024, the School warmly welcomed 27 ex-students (1980 -90 batch) from various parts of India,Bhutan,Germany and USA. They enthusiastically participated in the morning program and gathered for group prayer in the Multi-Purpose Hall followed by Lhakar Goreshey (Round Dance). Their excitement was visible as they toured their old classrooms, hostels, and engaged in meaningful conversations with the school principal and staff.

The school organized a cultural show to express gratitude to all the ex-students for their support. As a token of appreciation, the school also offered KHATAK and School Annual magazine to all the attendees. Furthermore, ex-students seized the moment to not only present a mesmerizing Tibetan cultural dance but also engaged in balloon bursting game with both fellow alumni and current school kids. Many also generously shared their experiences, stories, and advice with students and staff, thus adding depth and enrichment to the collective experience for everyone involved.

This voluntary initiative was facilitated by the CST Darjeeling Alumni executive members and the School Administration. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the ex-students, CST Alumni, and the School Administration for their involvement and support in making this event possible.
