Lost its another gem today.

Sunderlal Bahuguna was an Indian noted Garhwali environmentalist and leader died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences today after battling Covid-19 for several days. He was 94.

He spent his life persuading and educating the villagers to protest against the destruction of the the forests and Himalayan Mountains. The Chipko Movement had gained traction under Bahuguna.

Portals of Uttarakhand's temple open with rituals in a ceremony that took place at 4.15 am today.
Only priests and few officials were present. Priests are only allowed for regular day to day rituals in the premises.

Still the stays suspended untill further notice for people.

Shrine have been opened yesterday after winter.

NOTE :- stays suspended for common people till further notice from the government.

Due to devotees are not allowed to perform Pooja Archana, only priests would be permitted until further instructions from the government.
