Kedarnath Yatra is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It is one of the most sacred temples of Lord Shiva and is open for a limited period of six months only.

The temple is not accessible by road and one has to trek a distance of 19 Km starting from Gauri Kund.

The Valley of Flowers was first discovered accidentally by a group of mountaineers in 1931 who were returning from an expedition to Mount Kamet.

Frank Smythe, Eric Shipton, and RL Holdsworth were a part of this team. In 1980, Valley of Flowers was declared a national park and in 2000, Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve added it as the second core zone.

It now comes under UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere (MAB) program. There are about 500 varieties of flowers that are found in Valley of Flowers and some of them even have medicinal properties.

Since several plant species are considered threatened, any kind of animal grazing is not allowed in this region. When on the trek, you’ll even get to visit the memorial grave of Joan Margaret.

The Valley of flowers is a world heritage site in the far interiors of the Garhwal Himalayas, which is spread over 87.5 sq. km. The valley of flowers is a part of the famous Nanda Devi Biosphere at an altitude of 3250 metres above sea level and is the home of numerous indigenous alpine plant and floral species. So many rare and endangered animal species live in this region, including the Asiatic black bear, brown bear, snow leopard, blue sheep, and many more.

We are making a plan of trekking to make it comfortable for travellers , we have a very comfortable and beautiful campsite at Ghangaria as a base for explorations into the valley.

Flowers have varying months when they bloom, but mid-July to mid-August is when they bloom at their peak. Here, about 300 species of wild flowers flourish free from human interference

There is a growing awareness that the mental, emotional and spiritual well being of our students needs special attention. It is not possible for schools to completely address all these needs in a classroom setting. Parents play an important role but that is also not enough for most children.

We are seeing an alarming rise in students who lack self-confidence, who crumble under the slightest emotional disturbance, and whose sense of entitlement has tied the hands of parents and teachers alike. Most are unaccustomed to hardship and have not tasted the joy of working cooperatively towards a common goal.

We at see experiential learning treks as a unique tool that can help young students overcome these issues.

On an experiential learning trek with us students trek to a high summit and back. Under our supervision they plan and design their entire expedition - especially when it comes to multi day programs. None of them have prior experience of doing anything like this.

On the trek the students are immediately out of their comfort zones. They are in a completely unfamiliar environment.

Students trek, set up camp, cook, wash, help each other, struggle together, and finally cooperate to achieve their teams goals. They do things they have never done before.

This intense immersive experience, combined with reflection sessions with our team, results in deep learning that changes the way students see themselves, the world, and their place in it.

At the end of the program we have witnessed transformational changes in the students. These changes are not small.

We see students more resilient, better able to face challenges and more accustomed to hardships. They develop an inner confidence and become mentally stronger.

Osla village is indeed a charming stopover on the way to the Har ki Dun trek, known for its picturesque setting and traditional wooden houses.

Nestled amidst the Himalayan slopes and surrounded by apple orchards, it offers a serene atmosphere that captivates visitors.

Osla is also famous for its traditional festival called Saavanmeala. It is celebrated from 3rd August to 5th August each year.

This festival honors their main deity Someshwar Mahadev who bestows prosperity upon the valley during this festival.

Villagers transport his idol in a beautiful palanquin made of silver and brass from Gangad through 22 villages before arriving at Osla.

Sar Pass, although a moderate trek, is a perfect one for beginners.

The trek starts from 1,650 meters and rises to an altitude of 4,180 meters. Although the climb is tiring at some moments, one gets rewarded by beautiful green meadows, quaint villages, views of snow-covered mountains and the amazing slide after the pass.

This trail offers a gamut of experiences to trekkers. The trek demands a level of fitness and the minimum age is 14 years to participate.
