Demoiselle cranes at Khichan in Phalodi, Rajasthan. They migrate every winter to this part of India in large numbers and spend winter where they are looked after by local families....a dedicated committee of villagers look after injured birds and feed them everyday.

The blue city of India.....Jodhpur. Jaipur is popularly called as the Pink city and Jaisalmer is called the Golden city....Old portions of Jodhpur city where mostly bRahmin family resides use this blue color to identify themselves and to keeps their houses cool as the summer temperature touches close to 47 degree celcius.....Have a look at more of Rajasthan in this youtube video.

The global population was estimated at a maximum of 21,000 mature individuals in 2016, with the majority of those existing in India. Peace loving gentler giant is found across India in many national parks and wildlife sanctuaries.
