Fairytale village of Hallstatt 🏡
✨📍Hallstatt, Austria 🇦🇹 is a real heaven on earth 🧚‍♀️✨ A tiny ancient village with many wooden houses on the hill with a beautiful lake view.

Since it’s become too touristic already. There are few points that you should know before coming to make the most out of your trip.

📍Attractions: As already known, you should visit Salzwelten (salt mine), sky walk, Charnel Housr (grave yard and house of skulls), then take a relax walk in the old town

🕘 you should arrive before 9 am in order to be able to take picture at the landmark spot without the queue.

🅿️ the parking in the town cost 15€/day. So maybe you rather want to get a free parking slot outside the town here. And take a 20 minutes to the center. (you have to walk on the highway to the town though 😅)

🚌 If you plan to take a bus, just book a 1 day ticket (cost 5€ while one way cost 2€). With the line 543 you can go from the free car park to Hallstatt town to the next city (Obertraun) and to the cable car to visit the Dachstein Salzkammergut (ice cave and 5 fingers view point)

🪪🏠 You should book an accommodation for more than 3 nights at the same place to be eligible to get a summer/winter card to get up to 25% discount fee from many attractions (such as Salzwelten)
