Hello, hello! The plan is set now. We are doing a caravan pool trip to Himachal Pradesh in October. This time we are planning to explore some more beautiful parts of Himachal from Sangla to Nako to Kaza, and beyond.

Group size: 12

It’s going to be an adventurous ride where we might go for a trek, take caravans to a road less taken, camp near a river, cook in the vans, bath under a waterfall. In a nutshell, it will be a rejuvenating experience!

‘A family that travels together’ 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

For the Ray family, adventure travel is a regular affair. Mountains, beaches, deserts, plains - you name it, they have been there! The latest entrant in their list of adventures is a road trip. The family recently rented a caravan and started off to the North. ⬆️

The Gen Z and Gen X together explored the hilly terrains of Himachal Pradesh. “We travel together a lot and this outing in the caravan is a must-do for the adventure seekers. It’s liberating to be precise,” says Shuvjit Ray.

The barbecue nights on the way were also much fun. The Ray household has successfully tweaked the idiom to - A family that eats and travels togethers, stays together✨

“We don’t want to make it a hush-hush affair. We want a place where we can unwind,” said Piyali while planning a caravan trip with her husband. For the couple, it was very important to be in a secluded space away from the city hustle. So they finally zeroed-in on Rishikesh. We had a spot figured out there already which was totally peaceful and devoid of tourists.

This was the first caravan experience that the couple had. “The driver bhaiya was very nice. He made a bonfire for us just near the river. Sitting near the bonfire listening to classic songs while staring at the clear night sky was a feeling that would stay with us for long,” smiled Piyali.

The mild remaining fire was used well next morning for making chai and boiling water. “Since me and my husband have now ticked off Caravanning from our list, I think it’s time now we ask our kids to go for it next,” she added.

For Prajakta and her friends, a trip to mountains was much needed. They started preparing for it months in advance. The itinerary, the things-to-pack list, the playlists, and many others things were in all place for the caravan road trip!

“We parked the van near a river once and stayed the night there. As exciting and adventurous it sounds, the river water sound did scare us tad bit,” Prajakta chuckles. The gang cooked breakfasts in the van, camped at serene spots, trekked their way to waterfall and explored the roads less travelled on this trip!

“The best part,” Prajakta says, “was not the snow clad mountain peaks or the river sides or the waterfalls, it was the company I had along the way and the time I got to spend with my girlfriends.”

In love; in the mountains 🏞️

Besides a lot of other things, Akanksha & Harpreet share a mutual love for travelling. "During our job period, all we could do was travel together from office to our homes and back. And our love story began between those short distances," says Akanksha. The office travels soon grew into weekend outings and campings.🏕️

"Caravanning was always on our bucket lists. And this moment was just perfect. We were about to begin our new journey together and we had to start it with a caravan. All things fell in place and we ticked caravanning off of our bucket lists while documenting it for memories," smiles Harpreet.❤️

This couple did give us some real travel (and love) goals. did an amazing job in capturing every essence of their love for each other and for travelling 🚐

The little traveller 🤸‍♀️♥️
When Prisha, her mumma and daddy planned to go on their first Caravanning trip, they decided to spend it by the riverside in Rishikesh. While the adults prepared food, the little one chose to sit at the back of the caravan and paint.🖌️

After Prisha and her daddy's morning stroll by the bank of the Ganga, the family sat together over breakfast in the open. 🍃

She also competed with her mummy in river pebble throwing during evenings. Prisha also enjoyed bathing in the cold water. 🌊

The brief family outing was rejuvenating, memorable and full of adventures. Especially for the little traveller. 💁‍♀️

In the past few months, we have had the pleasure to host many families on caravan road trips. Ambika, along with her parents and siblings, went to Rishikesh and Dehradun from Delhi to spend some quality time with her family in the wilderness! ⛰️

While it was the first caravan experience for all of them, Ambika says her parents were ecstatic. "The joy of travelling in a Caravan was one thing, but they were psyched about the liberty they had with it of staying anywhere, anytime." 🏕️

From sipping hot tea during sunbreak to enjoying mom-made evening snacks to chilling with siblings on a big river rock, the family cherished some lovely moments together on this trip! Parked by the Ganges, they also witnessed some serene sunsets 🌥️

The unprecedented lockdowns gave a lot of families a chance to spend more time together. While many invested their time in planning about the future, this one here planned a series of travels. We hosted them on one of their first expeditions post the unlock.

Garv, along with his siblings, mom and dad, decided to take a caravan road trip to explore for five days. The family started from Delhi NCR and went till Chopta. They camped at random picturesque locations, woke up to comely sunrises in and made natural water streams their bathtub!

The best part, Garv says, was when they were parked at some spot in Uttarakhand and he witnessed the clouds slowly take over the complete mountain in front of him. "I haven't anything like that till now," he adds.

This is a Thank You post for the travellers we recently had the pleasure to host this Women's Day 🙂

To celebrate Women's Day this year, we decided to go on an all-girls Caravan pooltrip to explore Himachal Pradesh and wow, it was beautiful 🏞️

Starting from Day 1, it was a fun-ride with its fair share of bumpy paths along the way! Our wonder women cooked meals themselves, trekked peaks, chased sunrise, did fishing, river rafting and much more all with the spirit of exploration and travel 👭

Apart from being total strangers, the one thing they had in common was that it was their first Caravan journey ☺️ and they did it with full excitement.

To celebrate Women's Day this year, we have decided to go on an all-girls Caravan pooltrip to Himachal Pradesh for 10 days 🛣️🚐

We will be exploring some of the most beautiful parts of the hill state in the Caravans during this road trip! We'll trek to some of the most picturesque hilltops, go for morning strolls, paraglide amidst the green mountains, enjoy hot chai while watching the sunset, cook our own meals and do numerous other things during this trip🏞️

And one more thing that makes all of this even more exciting is our lovely host for the trip ♥️
