Late post
If one believes in destiny, this was it for me
The Oman trip started on 5th March.
Was in Talegaon dabhade near Pune for my father's first death anniversary rituals.
My niece Dr Manjiri, who stays and works in Kuwait had come along with her parents my maternal cousin brother and his wife , Shirish dada and Vrinda vahini (Dr Vrinda Dalvi)
While talking Manjiri mentioned about the Oman trip she was planning for 50th wedding anniversary of her parents - Shirish dada and Vrinda vahini
Shirish dada wanted to opt out for various reasons - to look after their cat was major one
So Manjiri asked me if I will like to come - in Hindi we say - NEKI AUR SOOJH BOOJH? नेकी और सूझ बूझ?
I was ready - 😂 happy
Till that moment I had never given a serious thought to promote Oman. My apologies to Omanis and the beautiful country.
And the trip started......to celebrate wedding anniversary without Shirish Dalvi, replaced - no ... taken opportunity by Sushama Chitnis 🤣
Travellers - me, you all know my age😉, Dr Vrinda Dalvi (74), Dr Manjiri and youngest and sweetest Miss Fatemah Ali
Day one - arrived in Muscat in the evening by Oman Air. Good flight better than Vis....
On the airport we took Oman Tel 's sim.
And met Fatemah Ali - physiotherapist works in Kuwait. Wonderful young girl, who made our trip more fun. Lovely soul ❤️
So this day was just meeting and spending night at Muscat. We stayed at Holiday Inn near airport. Holiday Inns are good for transit overnights. Staff was very helpful and polite.
