Janmashtami's most exciting ritual amongst all is Dahi Handi which is celebrated after birth ceremony of Lord Krishna. Krishna in childhood was fond of eating butter and curd. He along with his friends would make a human pyramid and steal pots hung from the ceilings full of curd and butter from the neighbour. The celebration takes place everywhere but Mumbai enjoys it with full spirit. Different teams go around in the area, make human pyramid and try to break as many pots as possible.
