Magh Mela, Prayagraj, UP
Magh Mela is a very big festival celebrated at the confluence of the three rivers Ganga, Yamuna, & Saraswati. It is celebrated each year in the month of Magh(January to February). This mela is last upto one and half month. It mainly begins with the Makar Sankranti and continues upto Maha Shivratri. This time period is known as Kalpavas. Large number of devotees come and stays here in the tent camp for this whole period. They are called as Kalpavasi. In this period five occasions are main in which large numbers of devotees gather here to take holy bath. These occasions are Makar Sankranti, Maghi Purnima, Mouni Amavasya, Basant Panchami, Mahashivratri. This mela is also knwon as Mini Kumbha.

Chittorgarh
The city of Chittorgrah, situated on the banks of the Berach River, is known for one particularly impressive attraction: The Chittorgarh Fort. Built in the seventh century, the fort is one of the largest in India and is guarded by seven gates.its is built in the 15th centurary and illuminated beautifully each night its covering around 691.9 acres in all there are a total of 65 structures within the fort .its looks likes a fish when viewed aerially .its not just india’s but its also Asia’s largest fort. Its was built by the mauryans in 7th centurary AD. its is one of the biggest tourist landmarks today in rajasthan, The fort was initially built at a place named Chitrakut earlier. Owing to the ancient nature of the fort, there is no clear history or evidence pointing to a single story of origin. Several theories have been put forward over the years by eminent historians. The common belief is that Chitrangada Mori, the local Maurya ruler, developed the fort originally. A water body next to the Chittorgarh Fort may have been built by Bhima, one of the Pandavas in the historic Mahabharata. Here is some interesting facts about chittorgarh
1 .its is a UNESCO World heritage site .
2 . The Fort has seven gates, namely Bhairon Pol, Padan Pol, Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol, Jorla Pol, Ram Pol and Laxman Pol.
3.the fort covers 691.9 acres in all.
4.The Fort lies 175 kms east from Udaipur.
5.It looks like a fish when viewed aerially and its circumference is 13 kms.
6.There are 65 structures in total, within the fort complex.
7.Rana Kumbha built Vijay Stambh in 1448 for marking his victory over Mahmud Shah I Khilji. The tower remains dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Mount Abu is located in the state's Sirohi district. The mountain forms a distinct rocky plateau 22 km long by 9 km wide, and the highest peak on the mountain is Guru Shikhar,it is located at a height of 1,722 meter above sea level. and Mount Abu is the only hill station in rajasthan, it is well known for its numerous beautiful Jain temples. These include the Dilwara Temples, which are a complex of temples carved out of white marble, that were built between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries. It is The oldest of these is the Vimal Vasahi temple, built in 1031 by Vimal Shah and dedicated to the first of the Jain Tirthankaras. And here is Nakki Lake is another popular visitor attraction of Mount Abu. Toad Rock stands on a hill near the lake, while the Raghunath Temple and Maharaja Jaipur Palace were also constructed on hills near Nakki Lake.and here Transport to Mount Abu is available through a number of ways, including by air, rail, and road. BIBI KA MAKBARA
Bibi Ka Makbara is the Burial site of Aurangzeb’s wife named Rabia-ud-Durrani. It is also known as mini Taj Mahal beause of the architecture looks like the Taj Mahal which is situated at Agra. It is built in 1668. Azam Shah who was the son of Aurangzeb has erected the Tomb also called Tomb of Rabia Durani.
The Time to visit Bibi Ka Makbara is morning 8:00 am to evening 8:00 pm and remains open on all days of the week. This place is 6 km away from the Aurangabad District. The ticket price for Bibi Ka Makbara is 25 Rs for Indian Citizens and 300 Rs for Foreign tourists.

Daulatabad Fort
Daulatabad fort is placed around 17km away from the Aurangabad District of Maharashtra State. This fort is built in 11th century C.E. by Yadava king named Bhillama. The fort is built very uniquely the citadel makes it undefatable moat is surrounded to it. The way to approach is from under the Tunnel which was also made by yadava in 11th century C.E.

AJANTA CAVES
Ajanta caves are located in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra state. There are thirty caves out of which one is unfinished are made by the Buddhist Monks in the Gupta period. Out of thirty caves the five are chaityagrihas and rest are Viharas. The Ajanta caves are excavated on the vertical cliff of Ajanta hills.
Firstly the hinayana followers of Buddhism excavated the caves in first phase in second phase the Mahayana followers of Buddhism reused earlier caves and some new caves are also excavated. The distance of Ajanta caves from Aurangabad is 93 km takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to travel.

ELLORA CAVES
Ellora caves are placed at District Aurangabad of Maharashtra state. The caves are dedicated to Buddha. The first phase is excavated by Mahayana followers of Buddhism in 5th and 8th century. In 7th and 10th century Kailasa temple excavated by Brahmnical group. In 9th and 12th century the excavation shows the Jain philosophy.
