Tourism Untold
Just like an family tree , it’s the Tourism i.e. Tour + Ism “ exploration of anything with passion” the only tool till date the world is banking upon to understand who we are and why we are in this universe , what is the importance of each living and non-living things , how we all are dependent on each other whether its living creatures ,nature , hills and mountains ,flora n fauna, science and technology , astronomy etc .
It is very interesting that our world had so many regions with so many languages , so many dialect ,different type of persona of living things ,different types of couture ,different type of culinary preparation with same vegetables and meat but with different taste , what is most interesting is that the colour of blood in all living things is Red .Reason the entire earth has One Sun, One Moon , One sea and similar planets what makes every one different is the Astronomy i.e. astronomical cycle .
Tourism is always misunderstood or always defined with self-created definition , no one has done the courage to challenge the old book which only deals with the structured built by some land lords , kings may be by saints may be for self-interest, may be for disseminating loot among the poor population to create more caste barriers etc. my be because of geographical location supported by weather due .
Historian define tourism with history of land and ruins , an doctors by medical tourism , and agriculturist as eco-tourism, person residing on hills for Hill Tourism near the bank of rivers river tourism , someone living in farm talks about farm tourism , tourism like an orphan child has been given different names by different prospect and fancies ,and its gladly accepted by masses because of very little knowledge and understanding, nobody has ever raised an toast why all these and what all these signifies .
The bitter fact for every state is that its resident does not know about their own native place further more always disgrace the region with unwanted thoughts and non-seasoned words.
Those who love their native place or region and are very thankful for inhabiting them in his lap are son of soil- always live happily without any disagreement and discontent .
What is this all about ? its only nonexistence of any study about the city , state and the study of benefit one state can drive from its neighbouring state or country with other country .
Study of available resources in terms of its culture, society , spirituality ,nature , food habits of residents and most important is the level of education in the region ,its history and most important are the popular stories of the region which creates the USP for any particular region or place and availability of story tellers.
The Development of tourism in Kerala is the live example of what I have narrated above , here the inhabitants has realised the potential of the city and has done concentred efforts in locating its USP or ayurvedic culture its treatments and available resources in terms of nature and produce. Its what all about Tourism the only tool for the defined growth of any particular region without huge capital investments provided it being handled and propagated judiciously.
