Bagore ki Haveli
Dressé sur le fronton de mer du lac Pichola à Gangori Ghat gît l’envoûtant Bagore ki Haveli. Construit au 18ème siècle par Amar Chand Badwa, alors Premier ministre du royaume Mewar, Bagore Ki Haveli resta une propriété privée jusqu’à l’indépendance de l’Inde; ce manoir à la décoration ostentatoire est aujourd'hui un musée. Reflétant le riche patrimoine de Mewar, Bagore ki Haveli exhibe un assortiment d’immenses cours, balcons, jharokhas, arches, coupoles et une fontaine. Avec ses quelques 138 chambres, les intérieurs de l’Haveli sont décorés de superbes vitraux et de somptueuses peintures murales, notamment les chambres des dames de la royauté, renommées pour leurs vitraux aux motifs complexes.

Le Palais De La Ville
Situé au bord du lac Pichola, l’imposant City Palace est un vibrant rappel des dynasties royales ayant présidé aux destinées d’Udaipur et du Rajasthan au cours de l'Histoire. Destination incontournable pour tous ceux qui visitent Udaipur, le City Palace est le plus grand palais du Rajasthan. Avec une façade de 244 m de long et 30,4 m de haut, le complexe renferme en son sein 11 palais de taille réduite. La construction du momument fut initiée en 1599 par Maharana Udai Singh II, le fondateur de la ville, puis fut prolongée continuée siècles après siècles par ses successeurs; il semble aujourd’hui d'une construction parfaitement uniforme, comme s'il ne fut le fruit de l'esprit d’un seul et même homme. Il comprend en outre deux hôtels luxueux, une école ainsi que le populaire City Palace Museum.
