I obsessed over this line for nearly two decades and finally, in 2017 with @jimwmorrison and @jxnfigs, we successfully climbed and skied this 21,165 foot behemoth. The full short film, “The Line Between Good and Evil”, is premiering today at Aspen Mountain Film Festival’s “An Evening of Adventure” hosted by @jenpharrdavis.

Posted @withregram • @mountainworld When @pedromcbride, @davidcmorton and I set off 7 years ago to follow the Ganges River 1600 miles from source-to-sea, we knew it was going to be an epic, difficult, physically and mentally draining expedition and adventure. It turned out to be more than we anticipated, a 45 day journey of beauty and tragedy, of the power of nature to create... and the power of humanity to destroy. The Ganges, and the myriad souls we met along the way, taught us about this holiest of holy rivers, about its dichotomous nature being at once both revered and reviled, and, ultimately, about hope: the hope borne of a love so intense it has nearly destroyed its focal point, and the same love that may well be its only salvation. PAPSURA, 21,165 feet, the legendary Peak of Evil, was climbed for the first time on June 3, 1967, by Geoffrey Hill and Colin Pritchard in a bold and final sortie of a month-old expedition, which turned defeat into victory.
In May 2024, 4 friends came together to attempt climbing it and snow board the descent. They were successful! 15 May 2024 was “The Line of our lives”.
