The WOW Club - Women on Wanderlust We help you travel the world 🌍
19 Years • 1000+ Trips • 10000+ Travellers • Over 90 destinations • Through this they can avail discounts on any of our trips!

WOW Club pioneered the concept of all women travels eleven summers ago. Today we do over 85 trips in a year both international and domestic. Women in the age group of 25 to 65 years, from varied professional background travel with us. The wanderers are from different parts of India and NRIs as well. WOW Buddies are present on each trip to ensure that the holiday experience is the best ever and mem

orable. Travelling solo with women who you don’t know could get a little overwhelming and the presence of buddies soothes the traveller's’ mind. We also have the Pink Edge points for our clients who have done 3 or more trips. We also have short holidays like a food trail in Goa, rafting in Rishikesh, a weekend in Bali and more for those looking at budget trips or short trips to their favourite destinations. WOW has 5 to 6 Signature trips annually, these are personally accompanied by WOW Founder Sumitra Senapaty. We also know of travellers who have found friends for life through WOW Club and have continued their friendship by coming along together on more WOW trips. Women On Wanderlust (WOW Club) is an alternate social platform for women and not merely a travel service provider. Apart from travel, we also enjoy catching up regularly for events such as wine tastings, see plays/movies or doing a foodie/heritage trail together. There is certainly a feeling of togetherness and joy on our trips. The Woman On Wanderlust is a sisterhood that is quite interesting because women feel free and have their personal space to themselves.

A trip I never knew will bring me home"

Hi I'm Trina Acharya and I recently experienced the Dev Diwali magnificence with The WOW Club - Women on Wanderlust WOW Club.

This has been the trip of all trips. I went in search of inner peace and my soul got all the answers. I came back contented, at peace, ready to live my life still being grounded. Words cannot describe the "Sukoon" I felt sitting on the ghats of Ganga. I had arrived home.

This was my second trip with wow after Vietnam and Cambodia last year. I love ancient places, and Wow itineraries are just perfect to satisfy the Indiana Jones in me. The Wow Buddy Rohini was everything wow envisions in the buddy. She was proactive and focussed on delighting each one of us.

We explored all the temples, had amazing special darshan, had lip smacking chats and sweets. The guides were knowledgeable. Special touches like private Kathak Dance was cherry on the cake. I highly recommend this trip with WOW Club, if Kashi calls your soul. You will be Wowed!

About Trina -

Georgia: A Wine Lover's Paradise for Solo Female Travelers 🍷🇬🇪

WOW recommends you to explore the stunning landscapes of Georgia and indulge in its world-class wines. After leading multiple solo women travel groups to experience the magic of Georgia, the country has surely become one of our favorite destinations.

Known to be the birthplace of wine, it offered some unforgettable experiences to raise a toast to. From ancient vineyards to modern cellars, taste the nectar of the gods and we even tried making the local food. Georgia and wine are two different words but they feel exactly the same, fine and captivating!

Another highlight from our trips has been the captivating Tamada tradition. In this unique Georgian custom, a skilled toastmaster leads a series of toasts, often accompanied by heartfelt speeches and poetry. Qvevri wine-making was yet another attraction. The Qvevri is an egg-shaped earthenware vessel used for making, aging, and storing wine made from various Grapes.

And let's not forget the cheese! Pairing Georgian wines with local cheeses is a match made in heaven. The rich, complex flavors of Georgian wines complement local cheeses' creamy, tangy notes, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Georgia is a safe and welcoming destination for women travelers. You can even consider combining your Georgian trip with a visit to neighboring Armenia, another wine-loving country, for an extra glass of fun!

Unveiling Armenia: A Journey Through Time and Wine 🇦🇲

Armenia, a hidden gem nestled in the Caucasus, captivated us with its ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and world-class wines. From the majestic Mount Ararat to the ancient monasteries of Khor Virap and Geghard, every corner of this enchanting country tells a story.

Based on our recent trips, we have a few recommendations for women wanting to explore Armenia :

-Vayots Dzor Wine Region: Spectating the Armenian winemaking and the ancient tradition of fermenting wine in clay vessels, "Karas" was a major attraction.
-Monastic Marvels: We explored through the majestic Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the serene Haghartsin Monastery, and both architectural wonders blew our minds.
-Cultural Immersion: All our WOW Wanderers were struck by the warmth of Armenian hospitality. We even shared a meal with a local family and absolutely immersed ourselves in the local Armenian culture.
-Spiritual Sites: Our visit to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the spiritual heart of Armenia, and marvel at the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral were some major captivating parts of the trip.

Having guided multiple women on solo trips to Armenia, we can confidently say it's one of the safest and most welcoming destinations for female travelers. The warm hospitality, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage make it an unforgettable experience.

Why not elevate your adventure by combining your Armenian trip with a visit to neighboring Georgia, another wine lover's dream?

Let's raise a glass to exploring these beautiful countries! 🍷

We did it, WOW! 🏔️
WOW Club has touched new heights by reaching the Everest Base Camp (EBC), and I’m still buzzing with excitement🥰

Hi, I’m Rohini , a WOW Buddy and my trek to Everest Base Camp (Sagarmatha) was an adventure of a lifetime, bringing me closer to the majestic Sagarmatha in a way that felt almost surreal. The trek was tough, but every step was worth it. The breathtaking views, the friendly Sherpa guides, and the incredible camaraderie with fellow trekkers made it an unforgettable experience❤️

From the thrilling mountain flight to the serene beauty of the Himalayas, every moment was pure magic.

Highlights from our 12-day adventure:
-Thrilling flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest
-Discovering exquisite Sherpa villages and ancient monasteries
-Acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar (yes, they have Irish pubs at 3000m!)
-Sunrise views of Ama Dablam from Dingboche
-Finally reaching EBC, surrounded by prayer flags and infinite mountain views! 🗻

The hardworking Sherpa people provided invaluable support, ensuring our journey was smooth and allowing us to truly appreciate the stunning beauty of the Himalayas.

This trek was not just about reaching a destination; it was about embracing the journey and discovering beauty in every moment. The sight of the mighty Everest towering above was breathtaking, a profound reminder of the spirit of adventure that lives within us all🫶

08/11/2024

My trip to Georgia was a delightful mix of rich culture, stunning landscapes, warm hospitality and amazing company of 12 other women with the WOW group from various walks of life which added vibrant colours to the unique flavors of Georgia.

I am Seema Sarawgi, a passionate advocate for lifelong learning, currently leading the Learning & Development vertical at BharatPe, a leading fintech organization in India.

Georgia is a mixed bag of magic which caters to different interests. Tbilisi, the capital, offered a perfect blend of history and culture. Walking through the narrow, winding streets of the old town, I was particularly enchanted by the colorful Persian-style houses adorned with carved wooden balconies and modern cafes. Each corner had a story to tell, from the sulfur baths in Abanotubani to the vibrant art and music scenes.

In Georgia, wine is more than just a drink; it’s a 8,000-year-old tradition and a symbol of heritage. I tasted some of the finest wines in the Kakheti region. The traditional method of winemaking. And how can I forget to mention about the Tamada or a Toastmaster who led the supra (feast) with heartfelt toasts weaving stories through his amazing singing turning each glass of wine into a celebration of life, friendship, and Georgian culture.

And yes, if someone is a lover of good food, Georgian cuisine will give you a feast for the senses. Although I am a vegetarian, I’ve never tasted so much vegetarian food in one go. I indulged in traditional dishes like khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), and not only ate khinkali (dumplings) but also learnt how to make these with a local family. Every meal was an explosion of flavors, and the hospitality at local eateries made the experience even more memorable.

Apart from the cities, I explored the stunning natural beauty of the Caucasus Mountains. Whether it was hiking in Kazbegi or enjoying the breathtaking views of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers and Mount Kazbek. Each destination was a reminder of Georgia’s diverse landscape.

Georgia just surprised me with its unique blend of tradition and modernity. It is a place where every meal is a celebration, every glass of wine has a history, and every conversation feels like a warm welcome. I left with a heart full of memories, eager to return and explore even more of this hidden gem. And of course, since it was my first trip with WOW, a special thanks to the group for making this trip all the more memorable.

Where passion meets adventure! 🤩

Kavya Sunandaraj, an entrepreneur & globetrotter from Bangalore, shares her love for transformational travel and her recent experience with WOW in Turkey.

My 13th journey with WOW Club, and what an unforgettable experience it has been! Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of exploring the world with this incredible community of women, and each trip has been unique, but Turkey… oh, Turkey! 🇹🇷

Traveling alongside 12 amazing, independent women, we ventured through one of the most beautiful places on earth. From the rich history of Istanbul, the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, to the magical turquoise waters of the coast—Turkey truly stole my heart❤️

Every moment was filled with laughter, awe, and endless stories to tell. This trip was not just a journey through a new land, but a reminder of the strength, warmth, and independence we women share. Thank you, WOW, for yet another adventure that exceeded all expectations.🫶

Here’s to many more journeys with WOW, where every trip is a celebration of women coming together to explore, empower, and embrace the beauty of travel. 💫

Travel has always been a source of joy and growth for me, and my recent journey to Morocco in 2024 was no different. I’m Anisha Roofi, based in Bangalore and working with JP Morgan, and every adventure I take deepens my love for exploring new places. This time, I set off with Wow Club, who made every step of the journey feel seamless and special. The experience was unforgettable—Morocco’s vibrant landscapes and cultural wonders truly left their mark. Traveling with like-minded explorers added an extra layer of connection and warmth; the friendships we built are ones I’ll treasure for years to come.

Morocco itself is captivating—from the sweeping dunes of the Sahara to the bustling streets of Marrakech. What really moved me was witnessing the dedication locals have toward their traditions and animals, especially in the mountain villages where donkeys and camels are essential to daily life.

One memorable moment was learning the art of Moroccan tilework (zellige) and crafting authentic Moroccan dishes like tagine and pastilla. Highlights included our time in Fez and Chefchaouen, where the locals welcomed us as if we were family, making us feel completely at home.

Beyond the stunning landscapes and delicious cuisine, what I cherished most were the rich discussions we had with our Wow Buddy about life in Morocco—everything from local governance and family traditions to gender roles and the evolving political landscape. Learning how Moroccans navigate these topics provided a new perspective on life in this unique country.

This trip to Morocco reaffirmed my love for travel. It’s more than seeing new sights; it’s about the connections and insights gained.

I’m already looking forward to the next adventure!

Hi I’m Chitra, a wow buddy leading women group trips for the past 3years. As a solo woman traveler, I’ve always sought destinations that offer a perfect blend of adventure, tranquility, and cultural immersion. Arunachal Pradesh, the ‘Land of the Rising Sun,’ exceeded all my expectations.

Our journey started in the serene town of Tezpur, where the Brahmaputra River gently flows. From the moment I stepped foot into Arunachal, I was captivated by its unspoiled natural beauty. The picturesque valleys of Dirang, the majestic Tawang Monastery, and the breathtaking Sela Pass left me in awe.

Exploring the Tipi Orchid Research Centre was a botanical delight, and the panoramic views from Mandala Top were simply mesmerizing. Crossing the Sela Pass, one of India’s highest motorable passes, was an exhilarating experience. And the turquoise waters of Sungester Lake, near the Indo-China border at Bumla Pass, were a sight to behold.

Immersing myself in Tawang’s Monpa culture and history was a highlight. The Nuranang Waterfalls, Arunachal’s highest waterfall, was a breathtaking sight that I’ll never forget. Our journey concluded in the peaceful t] gardens of Balipara, where I could relax and rejuvenate.

Arunachal Pradesh is a paradise for solo women travelers. It’s a place where you can feel safe, empowered, and connected to nature. The warm hospitality of the locals, the vibrant culture, and the serene landscapes make it a truly unforgettable destination
