UTair India Pvt. holds a Non-Scheduled Air Operator Permit (Helicopters) issued by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) India to provide exclusively helicopter services. It has its main base at New Delhi. is the first company to bring in 100% FDI in civil helicopter aviation sector in India under the liberalized FDI policy of the Governm
ent of India. UTair India is the group subsidiary of UTair Aviation of Russia and has been set up to develop the helicopter operations in the Asia and Pacific region. We provide helicopter transport services to the various sectors such as flying for Tourism, Pilgrimage, Corporates, Geophysical surveys/mapping, film shooting/photography, etc. The company also offers services to oil and gas sector besides other sectors in India and countries in the region by using suitable type of helicopters. UTair India has at present three new French made AS 350 B3 helicopters in its fleet. A few more helicopters of the same type are proposed to be added to its fleet in due course. Within a short span of two years of commencement of its operations, UTair India has already established itself as a leading and reliable Helicopter service provider. We have already flown on difficult sectors like Amarnathji and Machail Mata in J & K, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand, specialized flying like Heli-skiing in Manali (H.P.) and under slung geophysical survey work in Western India.We are still flying in the Kedarnath Valley and contributing to the reconstruction efforts of the State Govt.
