The local cuisine is a true delight for food enthusiasts like me! 🍛 From piping hot momos to spicy Chana Madra, my taste buds were on a rollercoaster of flavors.

But it's not just the food that captivated me; it's the rich history and architecture that tell stories of the bygone era. The Victorian-style buildings, reminiscent of the colonial era, add a touch of old-world charm to the bustling streets. 🏰

One of the highlights of trip was exploring the colorful bazaars. The narrow lanes filled with vibrant shops selling local handicrafts, woolens, and souvenirs were a shopaholic's paradise. 🛍️ I couldn't resist taking a piece of Shimla back home with me.

Millets Biryani

Last month I traveled arround Rajasthan with our good friend Suzanne Holden.
After having boat ride at Lake Pichola and G&T at Jagmandir Island we were hungry, Suzanne ask me
'Vikas where is lunch'
I said we will go back to town and have lunch at Ozen Restaurant, and talked about how good it is.
But when we reached at location, there was no Ozen, it was different Restaurant there, and I was not sure how is this new Restaurant.
People were hungry and I made them walk all the way to here.
Well I stepped in before someone get 'Hangry'

It was all about millets, as millets are considered super food now, world are increasing production of millet now. So it gonna be popular food soon.

Now people ordered different dishes and all turned to be very good.
I always order Biryani, but never had millets Biryani before.
It turned as best Biryani I ever had in Rajasthan.
I think this was the highlight my Rajasthan tours this year.

I miss Rajasthan for it's food.I Can't wait to go back.

What a fun packed last week.

Started with a private camping in Thar Desert, joined Jaisalmer Desert festival and headed to The blue City Jodhpur.
Now we are heading to Ranthambore National Park to spot some big cats.
