📍Pura Tirta Empul, Ubud This purification ritual is typical for the Balinese Hindus. They believe this is holy water and come here to cleanse themselves For the first part of the ritual, you have to make an offering, do a prayer and put it in the altar For the purification, there are 3 pools making a total of 22 spouts Each spout is believed to have different healings, from curing diseases to relieve negative emotions For the entrance and the sarong to be paid 3,52€/person You are not allowed to bring your phone into the pools, but there are a lot of locals there on purpose to keep your phone and take your photos during the process (you should tip them for it) Be aware to check the weather before you go, even tho it was 25 degrees it was cloudy so during the ceremony everyone was freezing!! This is the ideal spot for you. You can spend about 45 minutes or more if you really want to shoot videos or pose for pictures. At the entrance you pay 120 Thai Baht and you get a ticket, at the end of the lot, you can, exchange the tickets for an ice cream. It was a hot day, so bring shade and the ice cream helped.
