CGM SIMFED Shri Devraj Dewan along with Project Coordinator FPO Sikkim Shri Tashi Chhophel Bhutia attended 2nd Annual General Meeting of Linge Payong Farmers Organic Producer Cooperative Society Ltd. at Agriculture Office, Payong, South Sikkim.

The FPO is formed and Promoted by SIMFED as RI(Resource Institute) under the scheme MOVCD-NER Phase III. Deputy Director, Agriculture Department; Joint Registrar, Cooperation Deptt. of Yangyang block; Zilla Panchayat member, Panchayat president and the member share holders attended the meeting.

SIMFED Chairman Conducts Office Inspection to Address Employee and Workplace Concerns
Gangtok, January 9: Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, Chairman of SIMFED, accompanied by Managing Director Bhaskar Basnett, conducted an extensive inspection of the SIMFED office premises. During the visit, they interacted with employees across various sections, addressing concerns related to workplace irregularities and absenteeism.
Shri Bhutia emphasized the importance of regular attendance and strict adherence to work ethics. However, he also displayed a compassionate approach, acknowledging personal or departmental challenges faced by employees. He assured them of his commitment to resolving legitimate issues that may affect their performance.
As part of the inspection, the Chairman highlighted the need to repair damaged office infrastructure to ensure a comfortable and efficient working environment for the staff. This proactive step reflects SIMFED's dedication to maintaining a supportive and productive workplace culture.
The visit was welcomed by the employees, who expressed their gratitude for the leadership’s efforts in addressing both individual and organizational concerns.

Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, Chairman, SIMFED made a visit to the SIMFED's regional office at Guwahati today. He was accompanied by Shri Yogesh Gurung, General Manager, SIMFED.

They were welcomed by the officials of the Regional Office.

The SIMFED Guwahati Office was set up as a North East Regional office in association M/s. QSEAL Private Limited, SIMFED's technical consultant in Organic farming and marketing. The office in Guwahati looks after projects in North East States.

An additional branch office in Tripura has also been set due to its distance from the Regional office. A Retail outlet selling SIMFED'S organic products also has been opened up in Guwahati.

Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia interacted with the officials of the Regional Office and enquired about the status of the ongoing projects in the North Eastern states. He was briefed about the progress in projects like MOVCD, SRLM, NECTAR etc.

The Chairman expressed his satisfaction with the visit and has directed to conduct a meeting in Gangtok with all the officials of the Regional Offices all over India in Sikkim.

Hon'ble Chairman SIMFED, Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia made a visit to the Sikkim Organic store at Greater Kailash - 1, New Delhi. He was accompanied by the Managing Director Shri Bhaskar Basnett and General Manager Shri Yogesh Gurung.

The visit to the store was to explore the reopening of the organic store on PPP mode. Hon'ble Chairman issued necessary directions to immediately take the necessary actions to make the store functional. It was decided that the store shall stock organic products and other local products of the state for the benefit of the local entrepreneurs and to promote the local products.

Hon'ble Chairman of SIMFED Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, accompanied by Managing Director Shri Bhaskar Basnett and General Manager Shri. Yogesh Gurung, visited the 1st IRB camp at Wazirabad, New Delhi, to inspect the construction of a porta cabin.

The Hon'ble Chairman expressed satisfaction with the quality of the construction and directed the vendor to complete the work within 10 days to facilitate early handover of the project to the concerned authority.

Later, the Hon'ble Chairman held a brief interaction with the officers and jawans stationed at the camp. He inquired about the well-being of the IRB personnel and assured them of full support.
