ECOSS is dedicated to promoting ecotourism and conservation for the benefit of people at all levels of Sikkimese society. We seek to combine the strengths of rural communities with the experiences of national and international groups who are leaders in the field of ecotourism. ECOSS believes that community self determination and targeted assistance is the only formula that can lead to sustainable

development. The mission of ECOSS is to define the concept of ecotourism in the context of the state of Sikkim. We firmly believe that ecotourism and conservation cannot exist without each other.

(1) National Highway 31-A from Siliguri to Gangtok
(2) National Highway 55 – Darjeeling to Siliguri
(3) Gangtok – Rangrang and Mangan
(4) Mangan – Chugthan (upto 12 kms)
(5) Gangtok – Natu La. (56 km – 17 km open)
(6) Damdim – Alagarh – Rishi – Pedong
(7) Kupup – Natu La
(8) Pedong – Kupup
(9) Rangpo – Rorathang.
