Viva Sao Joao! 💐 24, June was super fun and exciting, both in the office and on the field. Soul.travelling hosted wonderful guests for the festival of Sao Joao at Aldona.

It was an unforgettable celebration with a group of enthusiastic explorers. The much anticipated Sao Joao festival began with storytelling and diving deep into its significance and origins. Continued with cultural immersion, witnessing and understanding the traditions of jumping in the well, making copel, enjoying traditional music and dance, and finally tasting the festive special authentic cuisine of Goa.

Is there a better way to understand a culture than by immersing oneself in it? Doesn't indulging in festivities and interacting with locals foster a deeper appreciation for a culture? Isn’t making friends with like-minded people fulfilling?

What’s better than an ecosystem where joy and productivity coexist? At Soul Travelling we always try to find reasons to celebrate, sometimes it’s our achievements as a team, other times it’s the occasions and festivities.

Today, everyone in office was vibrantly dressed with colourful attires to celebrate Sao Joao festival of Goa in a traditional way. What’s followed was enjoying delicious sweet called Patoleo, good wishes, fun photo session and work in a jolly environment.

These small but important celebrations are the proof that creating a fun working environment and finding enjoyment while taking care of regular tasks and continuous progress is not only possible but is also fruitful.

We had a work from cafe day at Soul.travelling! It was supposed to be a regular Thursday but we at decided to surprise our team and organised an impromptu work-from-cafe day.

Here’s how this surprising decision helped our team.

✨ Breaking away from the usual office environment was refreshing. The change in ambience helped team members feel less confined and left everyone in the team satisfied.

✨ Different surroundings stimulate creativity. It encouraged team members to think outside the box and explore new perspectives.

✨ Working in a cafe led to more collaborative work, encouraging spontaneous interactions and casual discussions.

✨ Cafes are social environments where people from various backgrounds and industries gather. Working from cafe gave an advantage to our team members, as they got a chance to connect with professionals outside their immediate team.
