A fresh new logo for Majuli Music Festival!
It’s more than a makeover. It’s a reflection of how far we’ve come
From those first sounds by the river to the unforgettable nights under the stars.
This new look carries the heart of Majuli, the freedom of music, and the energy of our community all in one bold, clean, beautiful form.
We may look a little different,
But the spirit? It’s still 100% MMF.

The youths are the future.
And the youths are the one who will lead this world to a better tommorow.
In the last couple of months hundreds of students from .bengaluru .jaipur visited some parts of Northeast India in a concept of understanding sustainable livelihood of the locals here.
In this journey, they visited various villages which are filled with handicrafs, handlooms and its co-existance of nature.

Explored the vibrant cultures of the places including wildlife and sustainable living.
Northeast India being a land of various tribes and culture, is also a place filled with innovations and great ideas.

Also North-Eastern Handicraft & Handloom Development Corporation, Nehhdc being the hub of preserving and promoting the wonderful crafts and art of the locals here had played a vital role in this project.

We talked and shared ideas about local economy, sustainable living, climate change and nature conservation.

We are very glad to see students who has brilliant ideas in uplifting the growth of tribal art and culture.
We wish them luck for their upcoming endeavors.

A small step towards sustainable science.🙏

Have you ever been to a traditional remote Adi Village ?
The Adis, being a Major Tribe of the Tani Clan in Arunachal Pradesh are brave and passionate farmers.
It is because of their bravery that the Britishers couldn't conquer any of the Adi Village during Anglo-Abor war in 1850.

There are much more interesting facts about the tribes.

A village older than 2000 years.

Yuchho-Pema-Chen which is now known as Thembang Heritage Village in Dirang has indeed a lot of history in it.

Also being a war-field in the Sino-China War in 1962.
Do visit this village which is also a part of 'Bailey Trail' formed in 1913 by Lt. Col. Frederick Marshman Bailey.

Nothing can beat the joy and happiness of a family travelling together.

Because it's where you get to understand and know each other more depending upon various circumstances and happenings along the journey.
Interacting with the locals and the communities, living with them alongwith the culture and traditions is the best thing to do.

Always feels great to host families like this because one can learn a lot of good and positive things while travelling together.
