गोआ, दमन और दीव आज भारत के अभिन्न अंग है। 1961 दिसम्बर तक ऐसा नही था। भारतीय सेना ने गोआ में जाकर उसे पुर्तगालियो से वापस लिया था। अच्छी बात यह थी कि यह बदलाव बिना किसी खास खूनखराबे के हुआ। इस घटना की वीडियो आमतौर पर मिलती नही है। यंहा मैं उस ऐतिहासिक घटना की वीडियो रख रहा हूँ।

SASEC road connectivity program.
Established in 2001, the SASEC program is a project-based partnership to promote regional prosperity by improving cross-border connectivity, boosting trade among member countries and strengthening regional economic cooperation.
ADB is the secretariat and lead financier of the SASEC program,
SASEC member countries recognize that most of SASEC’s multimodal connectivity initiatives include Myanmar. Road corridors in Myanmar provide the key links between South Asia and Southeast Asia. Ports in Myanmar will provide additional gateways to the landlocked North Eastern region of India. Development of multi-modal connectivity between North Eastern region of India, Bangladesh and Myanmar has the potential of unleashing tremendous economic energy in the sub-region.
SASEC’s energy connectivity and energy trade prospects will be enhanced with the inclusion of Myanmar, involving its substantial resources of hydropower and natural gas. Moreover, developmental impacts of economic corridor in the SASEC sub-region will be maximized by exploring potential synergies with corridors in Myanmar that are linked to those in other Southeast Asian countries.

the decline is in both range and population.

5 states and 1 union territory has signed pact for government e marketplace GeM.
these states are ASSAM ,ARUNACHAL PRADESH, ANDHRA PRADESH, GUJRAT,TELANGANA and PUDUCHERRY.

GEM-It aims to ensure that public procurement of goods and services in India worth more than Rs. 5 lakh crore annually is carried out through the online platform for transparency and to eliminate corruption.
GS&D with technical support of NeGD (MeitY) has developed GeM portal for procurement of both Products & Services.
GeM is a completely paperless, cashless and system driven e-market place that enables procurement of common use goods and services with minimal human interface.

Malabar exercise 2017 is 21st in sequence of annual naval exercise of Japan ,India and US.Amidst border tensions China has sent her ship in Indian ocean to monitor the exercise.
Malabar exercises will for the first time include exchanges on anti-submarine warfare, patrol and reconnaissance, according to the US Navy.

Sri lanka has banned bottom trawling.Trawling is a method of fishing that involves pulling a fishing net through the water behind one or more boats. The net that is used for trawling is called a trawl. The boats that are used for trawling are called trawlers or draggers.
Trawl fishing, or dragging, has undergone many changes in the last quarter century. President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee recently launched the SWAYAM, the portal that takes high quality education to the doorstep of everyone and the SWAYAM Prabha – the 32 DTH channels operationalised for telecasting high quality educational content free of charge using the GSAT-15 satellite transponders.
ts own online interactive learning platform that provides, not only video lectures, reading material but also assignments/quizzes that could end up in securing credits after completing the assessment system
More than 400 Courses are available on SWAYAM covering all the engineering and non-engineering subjects at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
The UGC has already issued Regulation that allows transfer of credits earned through the courses done through SWAYAM into the academic record of the students.
It is now possible for the students and others to take courses of the prestigious IITs or IIMs without formally studying there.
The platform has been constructed by Microsoft with totally indigenous efforts.
