The Great India World Trip, Leg 4 - South America 🌎

Continuing our global adventure, we explored the lively heart of South America.

We started in Argentina 🇦🇷, where Buenos Aires dazzled us with its vibrant streets and passionate tango rhythms. From the historic Plaza de Mayo to the colorful La Boca neighborhood, Argentina truly swept us off our feet. 😍

In Chile, we had the honor of meeting then Ambassador Mr. Debraj Pradhan, who shared fascinating insights. From Santiago’s bustling streets to the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia, Chile’s beauty left us speechless.❤️

Our adventure turned thrilling as we braved Bolivia’s Death Road, winding through the Andes with jaw-dropping views and heart-pounding excitement.🇧🇴

Next, we headed to Peru 🇵🇪, where the ancient city of Machu Picchu awaited atop misty mountains. Exploring Cusco’s ancient ruins and tasting Peruvian dishes made everything even more exciting.🥰

Ecuador 🇪🇨 greeted us with a special moment as we crossed the equator, and stood at the crossroads of the hemispheres.

Finally, our journey through South America concluded in Colombia, where the vibrant cities of Bogotá and Medellín welcomed us with open arms.

Every moment in South America, from historic wonders to natural beauty, made this leg of our trip unforgettable. 🌟

Anyone who has ever heard of Iceland (which is basically everyone on the planet) knows that “Land of Fire and Ice” is the popular epithet for the country where these two opposing elements of nature come together in a beautiful juxtaposition.

It is fascinating how fire (volcanic eruptions) and ice (glacier terrains) not only co-exist but are imperative for the continuance of life itself in this land.

Apart from lending Iceland the beauty it is globally renowned for, Glaciers are also a major source of water in the country. On the other hand, the nation perhaps wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for the volcanos; as the entire surface of Iceland is built on basalt, a kind of rock that forms when lava cools down.

So, it makes complete sense that a country that owes its entire existence to volcanism and has 269 glaciers earns such a dramatic nickname.

But I never truly thought that I would actually get to experience the origin of this title as a part of my Iceland Expedition. I am not complaining but damn, that was one sight I will never, ever want to forget.

The Great India World Trip, Leg 3 - Africa 🌍

We continued our epic “The Great Indian World Trip” across the breathtaking countries, from Kenya to Tanzania to Malawai, Zambia, Zimbabwe and then finally ending it in South Africa!

From witnessing the majestic Big Five in Kenya’s savannahs to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, Africa amazed us at every turn. In Johannesburg, we received a warm welcome from the Jindal Steel Industries team, adding a special touch to our adventure. Finally, the scenic beauty of Cape Town left us spellbound.

Every moment, from wildlife encounters to local hospitality, made this leg unforgettable. 🥰

The Great Indian World Trip, Leg 1: India to Singapore

Starting from Delhi, we embarked on an exciting journey through Guwahati and Kohima. Crossing into Myanmar was a big moment for us!❤️

But that was just the beginning. We got a special invite from the Indian Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Anil Wadhwa. So, off we went to Thailand, then Malaysia.

Finally, we made it to Singapore! It felt amazing to complete Leg 1 of our trip and we can’t wait to share what happened next!😍

Today, on “War, Peace and Northeast: How a solider Made Us Realize the Price of Freedom” : The day was dedicated to exploring Tawang. Bum La Pass wasn’t even a part of the itinerary. But sometimes you end up at unexpected places because fate has other plans. The invisible string that connects you rests in the hand of fate and it’s not until you have experienced it firsthand that you eventually start to believe it.
