Our rafting stretch lies on the upper section of the ferocious Barapole River of Coorg, famous for its turbulences and gradient that flows through the dense forests of Brahmagiri Wild Life Sanctuary. Very few of the natives are aware of the ambience and serenity of the valley and have ever dared to trek along the river. Entry to the sanctuary is restricted which is governed by the forest authorities to maintain and preserve the wildlife with rich flora and fauna, and the overall eco system of the valley. The regular rafting stretch lies before the Sanctuary, starting from our Base Camp that lies in the mid section of the river near Ponya Devarakad (Sacred groves of Coorg).
