When we see a peacock dancing, we are delighted to see the beauty and grace. We are filled with hope, love amd compassion.
In India, peacock is revered for various reasons.
Peacock feathers, or mor pankh, are regarded as an auspicious symbol in Hindu mythology because of their association with the peacock, a beautiful bird which is also the national bird of India.
It is believed that the mayura, or the peacock, was created from one of the feathers of Garuda (a mythical bird in Hindu mythology and a carrier of Lord Vishnu). It is depicted as a mythical bird which is killing a snake. According to a number of Hindu scriptures, it is a symbol of the cycle of time.
There are many legends passed on to next generations by our ancestors about peacock and the peacock-feathers that are magical tales of love, devotion (bhakti), hope, compassion, nobility, continuity, from ancient times in India.
A peacock symbolizes beauty, freedom, nobility, integrity, vision, refinement, protection, self-expression, and watchfulness.
Seeing a peacock is a reminder for you to acknowledge your dreams, aspirations, and that you may achieve perfect beauty only if you manifest your true self to others.
The peacock brings harmony and joy to our mind. Stay safe and healthy.

Coming with the new moon, the festival marks the end of 'Ramadan' - a month when Muslims fast throughout the day and eat only at night. Prayers, feasts and family get- together are the major highlights of the celebrations.
It was during this month that the holy Quran was revealed. Eid means recurring happiness or festivity. Eid is celebrated in India with much enthusiasm and fervor and Muslims from all strata of life can be seen adorned in beautiful new clothes, visiting the mosques to attend Salatul Eid (Eid prayers). Greetings of "Eid-Mubarak" are exchanged.
A very important aspect of eid is the charity, which all the Muslims are expected to extend to the needy. The first Eid of the year is known as "Eid Al Fitr". Al Fitr literally means breaking of fast. Thus Eid Al Fitr is celebrated on the first day of Shawaal, the tenth month in the Muslim calendar, to mark the end of a month long fast during the month of Ramadan.
As the third "pillar" of Islam, fasting is of great significance. Among these, the most important is that it is a means of learning self-control.
Ramadan is also a time of concentrated worship, reading of the Quran, purifying one's behavior, giving charity and doing virtuous deeds.
The secondary objective of fasting is a way of experiencing hunger and developing compassion for the less fortunate, and learn to be thankful and appreciative for all of God's bounties. Fasting is also advantageous to the health and provides a break in the cycle of rigid habits. Eid Al Fitr is a day of joy and thanksgiving. On this day, Muslims show their joy for the health, strength and opportunities of life. Though celebrations are not in the same manner owing to the pandemic, our spirit and faith in Allah unshaken. We pray for the well being and good health for all on this auspicious occasion.
Eid Mubarak!
