Today, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri N. Biren Singh, interacted with 30 youths including 15 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who have been meticulously trained in the hospitality sector under the Hunar Se Rozgar Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as well as in perfumery at Hindu College, Delhi. A total of 169 youths hailing from Imphal East & West, Bishnupur, Kakching, Thoubal, Tamenglong, Kangpokpi, and Churachandpur are ready to take on exciting job placements at different locations in four different companies. Together, let’s continue to support and inspire our youth for a brighter future!

Join us in spreading the message of peace, harmony, and wellness through the ancient practice of Yoga.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of three significant programmes in Manipur! On 10th May 2024, the Department of Tourism, Government of Manipur, Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur, and Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Manipur came together to launch the Skill Training Programme for Internally Displaced Youths, Operationalization of PHC Borobekra in Electronic Mode, and Coach Certification Programme at the Manipur State Film Development Society, Imphal. We are honoured to have Hon'ble Justice Gita Mittal, Chairperson SC appointed Committee on Relief and Rehabilitation in Manipur as our Chief Guest. These initiatives aim to empower the youth, improve healthcare services, and promote sports development in the state. We are proud to be a part of this journey!

Happy World Tourism Day, everyone!
Today we celebrated the wonders of travel and tourism, and the joy it brings into our lives. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing violence, our celebrations this year have been scaled down compared to previous years. We took a moment to observe two minutes of silence in remembrance of those who have lost their lives during these unfortunate times. Our hearts go out to their families and loved ones. Nonetheless, we remain committed to promoting tourism in Manipur. We continue to bring people of different cultures together and promote unity. Let's continue to support each other and spread love and positivity wherever we go.
