India’s First Cruise Service Begins From Mumbai – Goa, Check Out The Details Here..
For all the Globetrotters, experience India’s first cruise service between Mumbai and Goa at Rs. 7000. This is one premium travel experience started from the domestic cruise terminal in Mumbai on a test run on Wednesday, 5 pm and expected to reach Panaji, Goa after 15 hours i.e. Thursday morning. The vessel Angriya, by Sea Eagle Cruises, is likely to return to Mumbai either on Friday or Sunday depending upon the weather situation.
The cruise can accommodate 400 passengers and will be operated on alternate days from either Mumbai or Goa. The authorities have not announced the date from which people can start enjoying the journey. Travellers can take Angriya at Victoria Dock, Mazgaon and the intermediate halts on this journey are likely to be at Dighi (Raigad), Dhabol and Jaigad (Ratnagiri), Vijaydurg and Malvan (Sindhudurg) and Panaji.
Angriya is named after Admiral Kanhoj Angre, the first notable admiral of the Maratha navy and the great coral reef, the Angria bank.
According to a source, there are seven categories of accommodation available onboard, starting from Rs 7,000- 7500. There are five-star facilities onboard and the fare will include two meals and brunch. The fare will vary depending on the room category and size. There are restaurants, bars and coffee shops located on the decks to cater the guests. The other amenities are infinity pool, recreation room, state of art lounge.
